There was no forgetting up and coming Alt-Pop artist Taylor Briggs after listening to their standout single “So So Bad” earlier this year. It’s safe to say that in the short duration between the releases, they’ve refined their sound and added even more magnetism to their soundscapes.
Sticky-sweet romanticism isn’t all too common in the Pop Trap genre. But with their latest single “Kelsey”, they’ve proven that the airwaves would be infinitely more enjoyable with more candidly exposing urban tracks on them.
The melodies are sharp, the harmonies in the chorus are flawless, and there’s such a striking authenticity behind Kelsey, you can’t help falling in love with the single. Even though by this point there have probably been millions of love songs written, Taylor Briggs can still make the subject matter viscerally grip you with their resonantly organic single.
