Zayd brings us an excellent and meaningful song about mental health on ‘Nevertheless’

Zayd sings with such purpose on his new meaningful song about mental health on ‘Nevertheless‘.

Nevertheless‘ is based on a true personal story about his continuous battle with suicidal thoughts and mental health. Zayd wants to tell his story to raise awareness and ask everyone to reach out to their family and friends to help them before it’s too late. For the video, Zayd collaborated with filmmaker/photographer Sean He, who is also his best friend. This is a terrific partnership and you can tell they know each other well.

The song is based on an actual dream that Zayd had. In that dream he saw himself dead and walking around as a spirit. When walking around as a spirit, he realized that he was afraid to lose what he had loved and built and cared for in his life. He also realized how taking his own life would impact everybody connected to him and how some of them might end up choosing the
same path as well. When he woke up and realized all it was a dream he also realized that it was time to talk with someone, to get professional help so that this wouldn’t happen. And that’s the message this artist strongly wants to convey to listener. He says ” It’s difficult to talk, it’s difficult to open up, but trust your loved ones and open up before it’s too late.”

What an inspirational message and the video is perfect. I like how this was shot by his best friend who knows him the best. This way, he was able to perfectly capture his friend the way he knows him.

‘Nevertheless‘ is one of the most striking indie songs of the year. This is a difficult topic and perhaps you are feeling sad today while reading, Please speak up to people you trust as they will and can help.

Zayd shows us his thoughts here and he is very brave to do so. Thank goodness he got help and surely this song will help so many people.

Soon after parting ways from their previous project, My Lonely Heart, TJ Haefner and Dee DiMeola began writing songs together in the summer of 2018. Once their ideas came together, they brought their new music to drummer Ryan Venancio, who added to the energetic feel of their new music. After months of writing and debating on the name for their new project, the trio officially announced their new beginning in March of 2019 and began playing shows under the name Still Ghost. Michael Gramling, better known by his stage name MYCL, is an American singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. MYCL is naturally talented at playing the piano which is how he gained his producer name, Mikeyzz. He comes from a strong line of musicians in his family. Music literally runs in his blood due to this but this is what he does.

MYCL signed to Rich Life Moguls Management in July 2019 as this has helped boost his career for sure. Now, he can just focus on the music and let his team worry about the rest.

Freely’ from MYCL is all about living the life you want. You are caring less and less about what other people think and doing what you want. This is about just going for it and not looking back. Isle of Wight ‘Bethan John’ sings with passion on ‘Piece Of Gold’

Singer-songwriter Bethan John is back with her stunning visuals for the single ‘Piece Of Gold‘.

Bethan John is establishing herself as an artist on the Isle of Wight with her co-writer and aspiring producer Damon Edward-Ellis. Together in 2020 they have released three singles, ‘Piece of Gold‘, ‘By the Fireplace‘ and their most recent ‘You and I‘.

Bethan is a busy lady and is in multiple music projects which is helping her with her career as a professional musician, including acoustic duos called Lunari, Bethan & Barnes and a 4 piece function band called Funk Soup. This variety actually helps I believe. Lots of different music, band members and experiences await for the young singer.

You love someone so much and don’t want them to leave. You have such strong feelings and you just know that this is the one. Their company feels like you are dripping with gold all over your body and you couldn’t imagine being with anyone else.

Piece Of Gold‘ from Bethan John is sung with such passion and beauty. The notes hit all the right notes and I love the visuals. It’s simple, ego-free and displays all that this young singer is all about. Pureness and making quality music with meaning. This is a fine song that is sung so well.

JD3 rock with the brilliant ‘No Fools’

Northeast Indiana’s JD3  (The Jondo Trio) bring that good bluesy country on the sensible-seeking single ‘No Fools‘.

JD3, also/previously known as The Jondo Trio, are a southern rock swamp stomp powerhouse. Their live performances have earned them a cult following all over their travels. The gruff vocals grabs your attention and you get lost in the crowd with the excellent guitar riffs.

Originally a power trio in the vein of ZZ Top, in 2016, The Jondo Trio (Nate Mosley-guitar & vocals, Paul Osborn-drums, Stu Way-Bass) with the release of their 2nd album, Scraps From The Borderlands, added a fourth member (Chris Dafforn- keys & trumpet) and re-branded themselves as JD3.

JD3 performs primarily in the Midwest (they are based out of ) but have also developed a bit of a cult following in Europe which is so great to see. Their music style transcends borders and they sound hungry here.

With the release of their third album, ‘Something Good‘ recently, the band took a deeper dive into exploring their southern rock and r&b roots, showcasing their songwriting skills and deep groove. ‘Something Good‘ was released with both band names- JD3 & The Jondo Trio – to help fans of each of the prior albums to “find” each other. This is a strong release and is well-received.

Felicia aka comes from a very musically inclined family in North Carolina and she creates a vibe no matter what the room or people inside with her energy. North Carolina is where their hearts are big, they love hard and take care of the community.

The song stemmed from an experience where didn’t have peace of mind due to trust issues with the person she was this. It is telling the story of how she knew this but also coming to the realization that she should forgive herself as well. This is a true story that many of us have faced. You know that things should end but you try and hang on, maybe too long. You just want to make it work but things are doomed as trust is the core of all.

Stay Loud! bolt up the volume with ‘One Shot’ (ft. Derek Nowak and Dylan Nowak)

Stay Loud! is a alt-punk rock band from Northeast in Pennsylvania and they return with the fun rock song called ‘One Shot‘.

This band is from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in the USA that formed in 2016. They started out with a more traditional pop punk sound but developed more into other realms of rock such as punk, alternative and hardcore.

One Shot‘ is a fun song about how a night of drinking can get out of hand quickly. It is the bands first ska song and features Derek Nowak and Dylan Nowak on saxophone and trumpet to add to the mix here. This is a party song that is perfect to be played on all nights of the weekend.

The funny thing about the song is that it was written by accident. The band were in the middle of writing a completely different song and their bassist CJ was messing around with a ska bass line. Guitarist Gerry played an upstroke guitar riff to go along with the bass line then the drummer Jon rounded it out with his energetic drum playing. This song is their quickest written song in the growing discography.

Stay Loud! are currently in the pre-production process for a new album. If everything goes according to plan it should be out at some point in 2021. The album will be their most diverse sounding album so far.

One Shot’ is one of the most exciting songs from 2020 and Stay Loud! roll in with a real gem here. Fun music with all good intentions. This is what we need right now.
