Strange World Music held dominion over the future of electronic pop rock with their latest single, I’m on Fire

Strange World Music blew techno-pop-rock smoke onto the airwaves with their latest endlessly progressive single, I’m on Fire. The Sussex, England-based songwriter made a mockery of the comparatively stagnant evolution of post-rock with the anthemically eclectic future-ready hit, which starts with a histrionically cinematic prelude before slamming you right into a techno-pop verse.

Along the way, around the lyricism that compels you to stoke the fires of self-empowerment and subsequently socio-political justice, the literally and metaphorically red-hot hit picks up riotous rock licks that turn up the temperature and the momentum in the liberating EDM anthem that leaves the contemporary curve safely in the rearview mirror.

I’m on Fire dropped on July 17th; stream it on YouTube.

Alen Chicco delivered the ultimate debauched dance-pop anthem with ‘killer on this beat’

Ru Paul may reign Glamazon supreme, but if anyone has what it takes to snatch that crown, it is Alen Chicco with his electrifyingly debauched dance-pop anthem, killer on this beat, taken from his sophomore EP, UNCONTROLLABLE. With bass-drenched harsh techno breaks built to death drop to around the sticky-sweet pop melodies, the progressive dance hit, ironically given the name, has what it takes to make any dancefloor come alive.

The Lithuanian singer-songwriter has been dubbed one of the most controversial artists in his country for his tendency to smash through the hegemonic mould with his edgy hook-rife pop hits and flawlessly fierce drag aesthetic, which he introduced to his home country by appearing on X Factor.

He made history as the first Lithuanian drag act to step onto the stage, and clearly, he’s not done with his entries into the history books with his iconic influence that has endured through his music career, which kicked off in 2018 when he launched his debut single.

Vagic has released his liberatingly euphoric sophomore single, Free.

After making their 2021 debut, the electronica artist and producer Vagic has released their liberatingly sweet sophomore single, Free. Even with a few nods to Avicii, Vagic lives in no icon’s shadow with his enrapturing drops and ability to keep the momentum flowing right throughout the progressive electro house hit.

While the female vocals tempt hedonism, the instrumentals strip inhibition through the galvanising grooves that remind you how sweet letting loose and being free are. With a few more floor-fillers under their belt, we do not doubt that Vagic’s rise from the underground is imminent.

Free is now available to stream on Spotify.

Electro-pop duo Atomic Berries reclaim euphoria in their latest single ‘Relive the Moment’

Electro-pop duo Atomic Berries’ latest single, Relive the Moment, is steadily racking up the streams since its release on April 23rd; the raw-emotion-packed dance track was made for the dancefloor. But if you need a shot of euphoria ASAP, grab your headphones and experience the collective sense of nostalgia that inspired the single.

Through the build ups, breaks and everything in between, there’s an arresting intensity to Relive the Moment. It is so much more than your average lip service ‘high-vibe track; it captures the visceral nature of yearning for the past when the present leaves you disillusioned. If you can’t relate to that after the year that we have endured, your soul may be defunct.

With the stunning cinematic edge to Juniper’s vocals and the retro-future grooves in the mix, courtesy of producer Mike Midas, the duo will take the live scene by storm in 2021 with their grinding techno beats, synthesised crescendos and catchy lyrics.
