Bahbiss Cobb is the solo project of Eric Curry and he has just returned with his new moody electronic track called ‘Soup and Chili‘.
After being in the game doing electronic music for around 12 years, you can feel the experience in this producers music. He has made his own signature beat that certainly delves into your ears and takes you a journey.
The beats are dark and gloomy. They match the song’s cover art as this is all about what is going on in the world as we speak. The energy is underground with a tech house feel. This is all about what we are doing to the world and feel like I am floating over earth while listening to this, my expression is of shock as the world is so tainted.
‘Soup and Chili‘ from Bahbiss Cobb is a wild ride into the dark side with electronically charged energy that will amaze your heart.
Atlanta-based EDM artist and producer Darth Athena has recently dropped their most entrancing track to date, Polyzap.
It wasn’t long before the high-energy futuristic mix quickly garnered plenty of acclaim from Techno, Tech House and Trance fans alike. Even without clubs to hit, the galvanising track became a playlist staple for anyone looking for a rhythmically hypnotic track to sink into.
The style, structure and execution of the extended-length are typical from what you can expect from Darth Athena, but with Polyzap, they created their most distinctive and daring track yet. Between the euphoric build-ups and the all to satisfying breakdowns, you’ll find doom-laden sonic synths amongst a myriad of other effects and sci-fi vibes which combine to ensure that listening to Polyzap is a full-body experience.
You can check out Polyzap for yourselves by heading over to SoundCloud.

Mixer Liquid Trax has made his debut on the HyperTonic Record label. Featuring three tracks ‘Restless’, ‘Filth’, and ‘Detroit Ice Cream.’
A combination of sounds intertwined, from Tech House, Underground, Club and Dance, it’s safe to say Liquid Trax sure knows how to make a killer beat and one that is pleasant to listen too. Each track offers a variety of elements, you have some shrieking noises, and then the atmosphere begins to gain it’s suspense as the sound begins to become distorted, then you get hit with the crazy energetic melody.
The thing about this anthology is that each piece on it is so different and that’s what makes it interesting to listen too. With a range of sound effects and infectious rhythms, it’s easy to get lost in the dynamic that has been put into this to create such an insane tune.
Definitely give this one a listen too and let it take you on a journey through the world of sound effects and up-beat rhythms.
You can listen to Liquid Trax’s latest EP Graffiti Shots by heading over to Spotify now.
Not Together, a house track produced by Paul Costello, sounds very nineties in its composition. Throughout the piece there is a narrative, told in masculine and feminine voices, about lost love and how both participants have only found loneliness since becoming separated from one another.
The song talks of two lovers, who felt complete by simply being together, that have been left with palpable feelings of regret because they failed to say what was needed when their relationship fell into ruin.
Repetition, in words and music, work well for this minimalist track that shows our protagonists will never know they share an identical feeling of regret.
There is a sense of grief, for words left unsaid, laid down in lyrics that feel calm despite talk of surviving stormy weather. Both parties know they’ve lost something, pieces of themselves that made them better people, and are trying to become whole again.
For many of us, the subject matter contained within this track is all too relatable.
Breaking Tech House artist Darth Athena dropped yet another sublime mix “Plasmagoria” onto the airwaves in November 2019.
Their ability to blend shimmering bright transcendental textures with harsh smacks of bass in a constantly evolving House mix is like nothing we’ve heard from any other electronic artist this year. It comes as no surprise that the Atlanta-based producer finds his inspiration from an array of sources, from darkwave to fantasy soundtracks to RnB.
Plasmagoria is a mould-breaking melting pot of danceable euphoric rhythm. From sonic blasts to tribal rhythm you’ll find all that and more in Plasmagoria. It doesn’t just offer high-octane energy, but captivating high-octane emotion too.
You can check out Plasmagoria for yourselves by heading over to SoundCloud now.
Make sure to follow their Soundcloud page, as they’ll be dropping more mixes along with an EP in January 2020.
Darth Athena may have only dropped their mix “Pinnacle” a month ago, but in that time, plenty of harsh Techno fans have scoped out the distinction in their perfectly polished production. With over 100k streams on SoundCloud alone, the track is well and truly worthy of its name, yet, it’s left us with the sense that we definitely heard the best from the Atlanta, Georgia-based producer yet.
If you’re looking for danceable, dirty, euphoric beats which unravel with plenty of atmospheric conviction, look no further than Pinnacle. With subtle elements of Disco and Pop weaved into the mix, Darth Athena created a dynamic club dance track which any Tech House or Trance DJs will want to be spinning.
You can check out Darth Athena’s veraciously caustic mix Pinnacle for yourselves by heading over to SoundCloud now.
Electronica artist Mr Swince is set to make their debut with their ambiently euphoric Tech House album “Beats on the Brain”.
Sitting on the slightly more sedate side of Tech House, the tracks found on the album offer a distinctively intricate transient tone. You’ll need very little convincing when it comes to becoming arrested by deftly contorted rhythms Mr Swince offers in their naturally flowing soundscapes which constantly make unpredictable evolutions.
Their upcoming album stands as a testament to the versatility of their talent. The album also makes it highly perceptible that their music was never created to fit in neat boxes. Instead, if the listener is so inclined, they can attach their own labels whilst being enveloped by the blissful minimalistic beats.
You’ll have to wait a little longer before you can check out the debut album from Mr Swince but hit follow on SoundCloud and await the electronically constructed feats of mesmerism.
If you’re looking for darkly dystopian soundscapes to delve into, look no further than the tracks found on up and coming Electronica artist Long Earth Trading Company’s debut album “Sifting Through the Wreckage”.
While each of the singles offers their own doom-laden mise en scenes using aural atmospherics alone, the best introduction to Long Earth Trading Company’s sound is “The Long World”. The futuristic Tech House mix always keeps you within a grip of curious disconcertment as you anticipate how the mostly instrumental mix will evolve next. There’s a spacey Sci-Fi vibe behind the beats while the vocal samples will make you feel as though you’ve ended up in a darker old school Doctor Who episode.
