Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat has gone viral with his bittersweet folk-pop track, Summer Fireworks

Since premiering on June 18th, the official music video for Thailand-based singer-songwriter Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat’s latest single, Summer Fireworks, has racked up in excess of 9 million streams on YouTube alone. The addictive quality of the bittersweet folk-pop melody is irresistible from the first hit.

The cinematically progressive single starts with accordant acoustic guitar notes before the soundscape shifts into a semi-orchestral lovelorn ballad that captures the aching feeling of longing. The release seriously wouldn’t be out of place in a Hollywood Blockbuster with the panoramic production and the gentle yet dramatic nature of the ballad.

Taken off the incredibly real ten-track ‘Major Second‘ release, Mission From Dog are back with the superb single called ‘Red and Blue Flashing Heads‘.

Casey Hess aka Mission From Dog is a Chicago, Illinois-based solo artist who previously toiled the ground with various bands in his local area as well as Detroit, to now find his home making music that truly keeps his soul alive, with that fire burning brightly in his eyes.

This is the story of making sure that they don’t forget your name, as you go through life and wish that they could keep you in their mind forever, so that it may be lodged into their soul for eternity.

With so many lathers of soothing indie rock that is such a sumptuous listen, you feel lifted by the deep lyrics has you so captivated, the solos are tremendous and his vocals ease into your blood flow with that rarefied air, that not a lot of artists have in their locker.

He sings with such vehement gusto and purposeful enthusiasm, as we hear a man on a mission to reach his dreams no matter what is thrown his way.

Highs and lows: Atul sings passionately about wanting to hold her close on ‘Love is Not My Cup of Tea’

Singing with a confident edge, Atul brings us the true story of people that can’t find love in this mysteriously complex world, full of trials and tribulations on ‘Not My Cup of Tea‘.

Atul is a vibrant Indian-born, Los Angeles-based indie-pop/dance singer-songwriter, who makes that entertaining music about romantic moments and life in the USA.

His sings with such self-belief that he wants to be friends and take it up a notch or two, but isn’t ready to commit with fully-fledged love right now. Perhaps that will come later down the line, but for now he is happy where he is and just wants to make genuine friends, who like him for who he is.

The vocals are exciting and lyrics catchy, the message is vividly clear as they try and pull you in closer. His way with words leaves you in no doubt of his intentions, as the mist of the day wears off, everything is much easier to see now. This is a man who is only focusing on his music, as he knows that serious relationships will come later down the line.

‘Not My Cup of Tea’ from the fast-rising talent of Indian/USA singer Atul, is a true story made for a movie, that shows his attitude toward love right now, as his heart still heals from past relationships, a man that is still finding his way to open up again and be happy with the right person.

Waiting for true love rather than being with someone you shouldn’t, is the sign of a wise soul after all.

There was no forgetting the trailblazing Australian Pop artist Amber Lee after hearing her single “Doubt”. We were under no impression that we’d heard all she has to offer, but we were still blown away by her latest single “Kings and Queens”.

With Kings and Queens, Amber Lee raised the tempo to orchestrate an EDM Pop track which is as lyrically captivating as it is stylistically enrapturing. The track was written to tell anyone lucky enough to hear it that you don’t need to crumble and reconstruct yourself under society’s pressures. You can create your own image, enjoy the empowerment in celebrating authenticity. The kind of authenticity Amber Lee used to create this powerfully high-vibe single.

Leire –  The hauntingly delicate “Box Of Chesterfield”

They told us smoking wasn’t cool; judging by Leire’s ‘Box Of Chesterfield’, ‘they’ were seriously wrong. This is a beautiful, haunting tale of anxiety, of existing rather than living, surviving whilst drowning; it’s a personal song, the sparse electronic music echoing behind Leire’s husky, plaintive vocal.

There’s a touch of Sia in the delivery, but the hushed verses give way to an emotive, soaring chorus which allows Leire to properly showcase her vocal talent. And that’s some serious talent, having already taken Leire from busking in Leicester Square to sharing stages with the likes of Tom Walker, Jake Bugg, and Rag’n’Bone Man,

‘Box Of Chesterfield’ is a slow-burn (no pun intended) beauty; Leire’s debut EP, telling ‘the truth about society’ and released later this year, can’t come soon enough. In the meantime, you can hear ‘Box Of Chesterfield’ here.
