edub910 may have taken a five-year hiatus before their album “Scape G.O.A.T” dropped on January 17th but considering that it could easily be a contender for the best Rap album of the year, we can let them off.
edub910 may not share the same notoriety as the likes of Eminem but hit play on the standout track “I Will Not Lose” and tell me he doesn’t share the same innovation and talent. The level of energy in the polished mix locks you in tight while the lyrics which make you feel a little bit better about living in our warped society.
With lyrics which run through like vitriolic spoken word poetry and endearingly playful semi-orchestral instrumentals, it’s all too easy to fall into the relentless grind of the up-tempo aural firestorm. He’s come back with an aural vengeance. Now would be the perfect time to get him on your radar.
