I never have high expectations of vocals when it comes to Dance EDM mixes. But then Indie artist, songwriter and producer Rex Wang came along, with his dabbling genre mash up One of Them.
Using his Indie Pop styling he created one the most stand out Alternative dance tracks I’ve ever heard. Even that may be an understatement.
He set the standard for the dance genre with his latest tracks intricately paced styling which incorporates interesting instrumentals to revere into an almost funk styling accompanied by the rich vocals which is the perfect soundtrack night or day.
The mid-tempo track which keeps a happy medium between modern and retro, doesn’t bash you with harsh beats, it allows you to mellow into the music around the arrangements, it allows you to date to sink into the sound without any false promise of hype.
