The Kevin Conness Band are a collective of artists who prove that Blues Rock rhythms were built to be wrapped around R&B and Soul.
While tracks may commonly be described as cathartic, the downtempo stripped-back soundscape to which you are treated to from their single “Debra” almost consorts any sense of time.
As soon as you hit play on the track from their self-titled EP you can prepare to be consumed by the mellifluous ambience. With upbeat, honeyed vocals expressing the innocent lyricism and the acoustic instrumentals carving out a vibrantly soulful melody, it is impossible not to be swept along in the inviting aural tide of their sound.
After creating such a mesmeric EP last year, we can only hope that the Kevin Conness band will be hitting the studio with new material soon.
