I Can Feel It: Queens artist Oso feels so fresh on the catchy new money-flying single ‘Over The Moon’ (feat. Eric Bellinger)

With smooth lyrics, inviting visuals and saucy one liners that might have you gasping in your sofa, Oso jumps right ‘Over The Moon(feat. Eric Bellinger) on this party-filled new single that will have you nodding your head to the inviting beat.

Joe Amoroso aka Oso is a Queens, New York-based RnB singer-songwriter. He makes that straight forward music that has you turning the lights down low and your body feeling like that slow dance, is just about to begin.

This is the story of feeling that you are in a confident mood when you are with her on this casual escapade – as you aren’t going to be together for long – but intend to have as much fun as possible while you are together. Life is short after all.

The crisp production is new school and has you so captivated and rather intrigued, the RnB/hip hop mix strides through with swagger without any doubts attached – and takes you for a night-lit ride to the house party that has been heard before – but is sung with so much conviction that you believe each word.

Over The Moon(feat. Eric Bellinger) from Queens-based RnB artist Oso, shows us to a place far above our expectations for a track that has the night still young – with a video that holds you in tight – and takes you into a hot place with some sensual lyrics and two artists who don’t pull back any punches.

Not Looking Back: Brooklyn rapper Lil Dame sends respect to his real friends as he moves forward with ‘The Dream’

As he broadly opens up his mind to the things that really matter in life, that is far away from the pettiness he sees each day on the harsh streets, Lil Dame projects his energies towards ‘The Dream’.

Lil Dame is a conscious Nigerian-American rapper who is from the legendary streets of Queens, New York City. He forges a quality sound together as one, that flows into your heart confidently, however with only humble intentions that is born from hard work.

This is the important message of living for what is right and never forgetting the people that helped you get places, whilst doing it in a genuine way. He raps with such meaning — his mind is in-tune to what he needs to do — as he breezes past the negative fields, that can hold you in and bury you in a hole downwards, that you will battle to get out of.

The Dream‘ from Queens emcee Lil Dame, shows us into his mind as he has thrown away the futile memories of the past and is only interested in packaging the future, with the real crew who have supported him through thick and thin. Onward and upwards is the thing that he is focusing on and this is a terrific mindset to hold onto.

When you have those big dreams, anything is possible if you believe in yourself enough and put in the hard yards when others are sleeping.

The future is here: Oso meets his match on the steaming hot RnB single ‘Tap In’

Featuring the lovely Melanie Angel on the new video as the fellow washer at the local dry cleaners, fresh new singer-songwriter Oso drops one of the hottest RnB tracks of the year with ‘Tap In‘. He has his hands full with her but he doesn’t seem to mind in the slightest.

Oso is a Queens, New York RnB/Soul artist who is one of the new breed of musicians who are aiming to bring the genre back to prominence in his city. After growing up in the golden age, he has that extra special style that ensures that if he wants it enough, he will move up the ranks quickly. Co-produced by Hitmaka and the duo Ayo N’ Keyz, this seems like a dynamic team that have just made a hit track.

When you are clearly too creative for the shackles of school life, music is the savior and doing what you love is a blessing; you will sleep in studios and do whatever it takes to make it. This is the only way to succeed in this wild game with so many other artists around, so you need to stand out from the rest.

His voice is so smooth, you don’t need a razor to shave. This is a singer who has endured hardships and who isn’t letting go of this opportunity very easily. When you have talent you need to put in the hard work too otherwise it won’t work for long and it feels like we are witnessing the start of something special.

With an EP on the way, this is the single that is going to help knock the door down and listeners need to wake up and enjoy the ride.

This is the story about upping your game and speaking to that person you like otherwise you may never know what could of been. You might seem to get rejected a few times but that is all a part of the game. Showing your intentions and looking fresh with a smile, is all you really need to do to see if they are into you too. From there, the temperature heats up real quick.

If you want it bad enough, you gotta put the time in and it feels like Oso is that guy. ‘Tap In‘ is the hottest song I’ve seen/heard all year and you might need a cold shower after watching this video.

The tension is so obvious and this is an excellent RnB track that signals a new era for a previously-stale state of affairs. No more. The future is here and looking really bright.

‘Our Numbered Days’ album review: The incomparable multi-talented Queens musician Lauren Kidd drops her incredible debut full album release that finds her dealing with the final stages of grief

Our Numbered Days‘ from the Queens singer-songwriter Lauren Kidd is her debut full album release and this was certainly worth the wait. We find a musician who knows herself now deep inside and is flourishing with each passing moment.

Lauren Kidd is a New York City-based writer, singer-songwriter, dreamer and ever-evolving creative who has her eyes set for the stars above and nothing less. When you set big goals, sometimes you fall down and scratch yourself, but its how you pick yourself up, that truly counts long-term.

After reviewing her excellent lead single ‘I Want It To Be You‘ recently which is now track eight, we are treated to the full experience which more than lives up to expectations.

You feel a weight lifted off your tired shoulders when you turn on this concept record and you know you are in safe hands.

With ‘Make You Smile’, there is a happy energy that is pushed through and the overwhelming feeling is that she is looking for that love again and just wants a chance to show that is ready again. The Pop pureness is such a blessing on the ear and the melodic rhythm is a welcome addition to a wild year.

Other highlights are, and there are so many, are definitely ‘Our Numbered Days‘ as this should be the theme of 2020. The days are so short and who knows what tomorrow will bring so we need that special feeling now, to get that love rush back into our veins.

Still‘ is such a gorgeous delivery and the hard hitting beat just makes it so much better. This is the chronicle of how you want them so badly when they aren’t around and the haunting vocals fills your soul. I imagine this to be a future music video for Lauren.

Ours‘ is a song my mind wandered far away on. I got lost in the track and reminisced about previous relationships and those happy memories and what went right. The sadness of losing someone to a breakup hurts hard and it can consume you but you have to keep those good times locked away and never forget them.

They say that class is permanent and this is absolutely true on this occasion. Lauren is such a talented musician who puts in the extra hard work to make her stand out and doesn’t expect any freebies. Its this type of attitude that will see her go far in the music world as that is what it takes to be the best at what you do. A lot of friends won’t understand and there will be some lonely nights but if you want it bad enough, you gotta go and get it. Its your life after all and you walk the road that choose, not anyone else.

Lauren Kidd’s Our Numbered Days‘ is one of the best releases of 2020 due to the meaningful lyrics, her excellent vocal projection and with her determined mindset, she is an example for others on how to do things with your music career. There are no fillers on this album, nothing you can skip, and this is so rare these days in a ‘quick and forget’ society where it’s easy to be forgotten.

If she can stay focused and keep on having a small but loyal team around her that always has her back, Lauren can go wherever she wants to go with her music. Form is temporary but class remains forever and with a secret track inside, this is an album that will inspire so many and warm their hearts.

Queens, New York singer-songwriter Lauren Kidd is heading for big things due to her exceptional voice and self-motivated attitude. These are two qualities that are at the core of being a successful indie artist and Lauren epitomizes this.

This is the story of knowing what you want but struggling to find the right path to get there. The pain in her voice is palpable as she wrestles with easy temptations that have been there from life in a band. Quick and fun flings are there if you want it; they can be so hard to resist if you let yourself be drawn in and hang out at places you know are bad for you.

She sings from the heart and wants to be a better person and there is only one special soul that she visualizes being with The problem is, it might be too late. Patience and self-reflection are the two qualities needed right now but you don’t want to be alone either.

With a strong voice, terrific visuals and a heartfelt style, it’s no wonder that this is a musician on the rise. Her honesty shines through the cracks of the room as you reminisce about those nights you spent with someone you barely knew.

I Want It To Be You’ from New York’s Lauren Kidd is a single that is part of the master-plan and a way to heal inside so that you can move on and do what you can, to gain that ultimate forgiveness. Queens Emcee ‘Del’ busts through the front door with outstanding debut ‘’Sunnyside Freestyle’’

‘’We ready to get it on. I’m the self acclaimed prophecy.’’ Is there a new force in New York Hip Hop?

Sunnyside in Queens, NYC Emcee ‘Del’ is on a mission. He believes he is the best. Wayne Brady good. This guy can rap and shows the world his mad skills on a dope beat. This is proper Hip Hop, Queens style.

‘’I need three girls at all times/Like the motherfucking power puffs’’. “Del’’ has clever wordplay up his sleeve and this is a prime example. So many Emcee’s ramble about the same thing but not this artist. He has a vivid imagination and vision, something you can’t teach.

With more tracks like ’’Sunnyside Freestyle’’, ‘Del’ is unlikely to be lonely at night. A fairly new addition to the legendary New York music scene, he smashes through to demand respect on this single and will surely break out soon. He is too good not to.

Being a new artist, I am intrigued to see what comes next, who he collabs with and how this fantastic talent evolves. Hip Hop is in a good place with ‘Del’ and long may this journey continue.
