Hot in the Australian music scene and growing globally, Madison is quickly gaining traction as one of the country’s most promising emerging DJ’s. With a techno house beat, this is a real banger. This is a party track for all to enjoy and I love the vocals. This is a fab song that gets you in the mood to go out.

For Your Love‘ from Madison is a great track that rises through the smokey fires of 2020. This type of vibrant music that transcends the speakers and this young Australian producer and vocalist that is growing each day.

https://open.spotify.com/album/6HoyOorjWcHAZc4n5uIzfF

It’s sultry, it’s retro, it’s euphoric, it’s Elta Wave’s eccentrically electric 5th single “Dance Floor Dance”.

Finding distinction within a Dance Pop track may be harder than finding a needle in a haystack, but you can’t help but be hooked in by Elta Wave’s magnetic personality in the danceable high-vibe hit. I should probably warn you now that the melody will stick to your synapses like superglue.

There are nuanced textures of Funk and Disco weaved into the contemporary mix which kicks off and concludes by throwing playful polyphonic notes your way. You’re instantly given the affirmation that Dance Floor Dance is an accessible from the first hit mix.

There’s no understating the commercial potential in Elta Wave’s sound. You’ll have to hear the infectious rhythms for yourselves.

Slip into David Taylor’s transcendently light mix “hours”

Australian Electronica artist and producer David Taylor has recently released their distinctively sweet Lo-Fi Chill EP 050392. The perfect introduction to their catharsis-spilling sound is “hours”.

The hazily blissful track which comes with slight Chill Hop nuances may not easily squeeze into any constrained branch of Electronica, but it does ooze potent and organic good vibes. With the warm tones and the transcendently light textures, hours is an incredibly easy track to slip into and get pulled along by the seamless reverb-soaked progressions.

It’s not every day we can say the Electronica we hear serves up plenty of soul, but discernibly, David Taylor isn’t your average producer. After hearing their latest release, we’re stoked to hear where their sound which drips with commercial potential takes them next.

Tom Algorithm – To Dust: Exploratively Immersive Electronica

Electronic artist and producer Tom Algorithm released their 5-track Minimalist Techno EP “Sequences” on August 9th, the perfect introduction to their captivatingly immersive style is “To Dust”.

The progressive soundscape offers a complexity which is rarely found in Instrumental Electronica. The vibe of the track isn’t immediately obvious, to make To Dust even more intriguing, the nuanced evolutions in tone leave you even more eager to hear what Tom Algorithm will throw your way next.

Despite their moniker, there’s a serious amount of well-rounded human emotion on offer in the deft progressions which are robust despite the delicacy of the neo-classically-inspired notes around the swelling basslines.

Oh Balboa – Sing through It with The Ooh Song

EDM. Dance. Electropop. House. They’re all labels that get bandied about a lot, without actually specifying very much at all; “EDM isn’t a genre”, I hear you cry. Well, maybe not, but with “We Sing Through It”, an irreverent, feel-good slice of early ‘90s-style Euro-House, Oh Balboa has probably got closer than anybody to defining, exactly, its essence; if you open up the dictionary for ‘Electronic Dance Music’, there won’t be any words. There’ll just be a sound-clip of this track playing. Repeatedly. Over and over, around your head, on an endless loop. For days.

Sure, there’s not much to it; a catchy-as-fuck simple nine note sampled phrase, rising and falling through the octave, repeated, round and round over some deep synth swell chords and old school Roland beats, smack on the ‘Balearic’ money at 128 BPM. Aside from the drop around the 1 minute mark, that’s about it. And damn, if that’s not enough for you then frankly you’ve never done the Running Man at an Ibiza foam-party; ‘We Sing Through It’ could be this year’s ‘French Kiss’.
