OvaDos proves that it is all in the mindset with her humbled RnB trap track, ‘No Regrets’

While the mainstream media is determined to depict this generation as a lost one, breaking hip hop artist and producer, OvaDos is on a mission to uplift with her soulfully convictive RnB hip hop tracks such as ‘No Regrets’.

No Regret serves as a poignant reminder that success depends on your mindset just as much as your circumstances. It may be a short and sweet track, but 1:42 minutes is all the time the Californian artist needed to impart grounded and humbled wisdom over her modern trippy beats.

No Regrets is now available to stream via Spotify.

Mdg 4Eva has delivered a soulful hard-hitter with ‘Shiny Man’, featuring J. Harvey

Dallas-hailing hip hop artist Mdg 4Eva made their debut in 2019, in 2021; he is well and truly coming into his own. His timely, infectiously positive tracks are a welcome change from the lockdown-born self-apathy-soaked singles that made up a significant percentage of new releases in the past 12 months.

His recently released single, ‘Shiny Man’, featuring J. Harvey, is Mdg 4Eva at his finest. The playful soul and boundless charisma in the nuanced track prove that positive vibes and hard-hitting conviction don’t need to be exclusive of each other. In Shiny Man, you will pick out the positive affirmations littered amongst the snapshots of intimate introspection. With the versatility of Mdg 4Eva’s vocals, you’ll get to hear him at his most affable and eccentric as well at his most dominant. Any fans of Outkast, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar and Childish Gambino will want to experience Mdg 4Eva for themselves.

As Mdg 4Eva has plenty more singles to drop in 2021, he’s well worth adding to your radar. You can follow him via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Shiny Man is available to stream via Spotify.

[VIDEO REVIEW] FONZO sets an aspirational example with ‘POWER OF YOUR MIND’.

There has been plenty of anticipation for activist and hip hop artist FONZO’s sophomore single after his debut single, ‘For the Kids’, dropped in 2020 as part of his ‘No More Kids in Cages’ campaign.

He hasn’t forgotten his social responsibility in his latest single, POWER OF YOUR MIND – quite the opposite. This time, he’s offering the listener the power to free themselves through a mix of lyricism grounded in reality and galvanising hip hop beats, produced by Yung Ricc, that throwback to the roots of old school hip hop while injecting a fair amount of adrenaline into them. The artist’s love of old school funk found its way into the affably fiery release, yet, POWER OF YOUR MIND lacks none of the conviction of hard-hitting hustler hip hop.

From sending warnings about fake friends to finding clever ways to reminding the listener that progress is made one step at a time, you’ll quickly recognise that FONZO is an artist worth listening to.

The official video encapsulates everything that FONZO is about, it hammers home the importance of community and mentorship; there’s little in use of self-improvement if you’re not prepared to share your wisdom and positive energy; once you start sharing it, you’ll see how infectious it is.

POWER OF YOUR MIND is the second single released from FONZO’s debut album High Gravity; keep him on your radar for when it drops via Facebook.

The official video for POWER OF YOUR MIND released on March 26th. You can check it out for yourselves by heading over to YouTube.
