Evandale – The Storm: Southern Sleazy Hard Rock

‘The Storm’ was the first single released from Evandale’s debut album, ‘All or Nothing’; it’s safe to say that the hard rock outfit went with the former option with this southern sleazy stormer.

Since forming in 2017, the Midwest powerhouse has opened for iconic acts such as Bowling for Soup, Soul Asylum, Dirty Honey, Wayland and Spin Doctors and won an Omaha Arts and Entertainment award for Best New Artist in 2019. With their enigmatic energy, technical ability and tendency to pack their tracks with enough visceral intensity that they could make the Richter scale quiver; the accolades are only going to get sweeter from here on out.

I can imagine, and hopefully, one day I will be able to discover that Evandale’s live sound delivers the same pit-opening arrestive adrenaline as Godsmack and Sevendust.

ALT Grunge Rock artist from LA Gabe Wolf powers through the door with ‘’Last Night’’ single

Influenced by Papa Roach and Linkin Park growing up, you can hear the passion in Gabe’s voice and his unwavering passion for music. These two bands are the pillar of his music armoury and he certainly puts his all into the music.

‘Gabe Wolf’ is a self-taught producer, writes his own music and masters his own songs. Joined by good friend Jacob Lauing, Wolf has a fantastic artist to join him for live shows and while making music. After making rock since 2019, ‘Gabe Wolf’ is a mainstay on the LA Alt scene and you can tell that he truly loves the creative side and doesn’t care about the glitz and glamour.

After being out of the scene for 3 years, it’s great to see Gabe back and doing something he loves. This is someone I would love to see live at a festival in 2021.

Skitzo Flowz – Fright Night ft. DJ Hub: The Papa Roach Mash-Up You Never Knew That You Needed

Skitzo Flowz latest drop “Fright Night” is an insanely fresh and filthy Hip Hop track rehashing of Papa Roach’s iconic track “Last Resort” which will allow all of that 00s Alt-Rock nostalgia to hit you like a fuzzy reverberant brick.

Skitzo Flowz teamed up with DJ Hub to create a high-octane hit of caustic in-your-face Hip Hop using the lines which will always carry that unmatchable angsty catharsis along with their own original lyrics proving they’ve got plenty of lyrical flavour of their own.

Many up and coming artists struggle when it comes to contending with classics and genre pioneers; people will always love that direct link to the past which they get from revising era-defining tracks. Yet, Skitzo Flowz has used this to his advantage by allowing an absolute earworm to feed into his own harsh EDM Hip Hop mix which mashes guitar chords and places them in a smorgasbord of irresistibly raw rhythms.
