Living in the moment: Black + White TV drop passionate alt-rock single ‘Song 60’

Black + White TV use their music remote and turn on their new single for us to enjoy via the fascinating track called ‘Song 60‘.

New alt-rock band Black + White TV sing and play with such purpose and passion, each lyric and guitar strum is magnificently entered into the realm of the world; with a pure precision that makes you admire this act.

You feel an element of punk rock rolling in as they skid onto the stage with an undeniable class that is so rare in modern music. His riveting vocals make you listen extra intently as the excellent guitar soundscape rolls you into the wave that leads you to shore, after the backwash of 2020 that was unforgiving to anyone weak.

This is the story about how the world has been so grey and its easy to give up and just fly away from it all. You want to stay positive and live again the way you once loved, being out and about with mates but right now you know you need to reflect, build and ride out the storm.

‘Song 60‘ from Black + White TV is a high octane affair, full of twists and turns, dark moments and wanting that true love. This is a quality act who have just burst onto the scene and must be itching to play their new material live in those sweaty bars and clubs that make legends out of you.

Chicago band Geekd are back with the groovy tune of ‘Taylor-Taylor’

Geekd are back with the groovy tune of ‘Taylor-Taylor‘ and this is an indie-rock wonderland of music to spill through the waves of the world and into our lost hearts.

A Chicago neo-psychedelic rock project led by Christian Moreno, Geekd has a sound that could be described as The Addams Family meets Alice in Wonderland and they take us on a vivid journey that sounds like no other. This is a band that make music that inspires.

You wish that you could see her more and she is always on your mind. You dream about her all the time and wish that you were together always. Things can’t be like that right now and this is a tough time but you will rebound and hopefully be together when the time is right,

Taken off the EP ‘The Fairytale Starlight‘, this one of the best singles from this release due to the diverse sounds and outstanding guitar work.

Chicago band Geekd stroll in with a song that could be mistaken for an Oasis riff. They soon show they signature sound and this is a great track, so punchy, the bass gives you shivers and this is one for the books. ‘Taylor-Taylor‘ is a rockin’ theme track for 2020 and this sets the mood nicely whatever the time of the day.

Blow Pop effortlessly stroll in with the brilliant indie-pop ‘Nobody’

Set for release on the 16th August, this is Blow Pop’s time to shine as they return with the brilliant indie-pop laced present ‘Nobody‘.

This is all about feeling that you are nobody in this big world of ours. A reflective story of being able to leave a situation quickly if need be. You have a low opinion of yourself and also blame yourself easily for things you really shouldn’t.

Blow Pop have such a stylishly sharp way about them from the ear blessing vocals and fine production. There is indie, pop, dance and disco all fused together like a delicious wrap of lip tingling goodness here. I love everything about this glorious piece of articulate art on this new track.

‘Nobody‘ from Blow Pop is a lovely indie-pop peach that gives you a pure feeling inside. An 80’s inspired song that is a self-reflection that lots of us feel like even though we shouldn’t. We are all special and somebody.

Midnight Drive’s ‘Over It’ is the electro anthem of 2020

Midnight Drive are a new electronic act in the game and they return with their 3rd single called ‘Over It‘.

Nothing is going to save this relationship sadly. The love has gone and you are over it. You had amazing memories but the time to turn the page and close the book is now. You need to move on and be free again, finding happiness is this destructive world is key to your mental health.

There is lots of indie electro forces here and the beat is so jarring and thuds into your ears. I love the beat and the raspy vocals make this a winner. This a breakout anthem that is a pleasure to listen to.

Midnight Drive’s ‘Over It‘ shines through the door like a bright light wanting to force itself in. There is a style and a panache here that is unlike most bands. This is an outfit that are making a name for themselves.
