JoeTheRapper flexes their grounding lyrical ingenuity and experimental Hip Hop style in their 2020 EP “NOVAD II”

If you love discovering authentic breaking Hip Hop artists as much as we do, prepare to be awe-struck by JoeTheRapper’s 2020 EP “NOVAD II”.

The 5 tracks may differ in tempo and tone, but they all offer striking emotion which spills from JoeTheRapper’s connectable soulful Bars which consistently lay down witty relatable introspection over the jazzy warm beats.

All of the tracks instilled visceral emotion. But no track hit harder than TOXIC. We all know toxic and abusive relationships exist, but so infrequently do they become the subject of tracks – of any genre.

I’ll never forget the resounding impact of TOXIC and JoeTheRapper’s attack on Toxic behaviour which gets to the heart of the issue without losing empathy. It left me the affirmation that if JoeTheRapper steps to the mic, he’ll always have something to say that’s worth hearing.

Orie Adams – Runaway Again: A Rhythmically Rendered Hip Hop Earworm

https://youtu.be/tgakeXAlVss

No Hip Hop instrumentals in 2020 have caught our attention in quite the same way as the enticing rhythms in Orie Adams’ latest single Runaway Again.

Winding Blues Rock guitar licks weave around the steady percussion and emotively weighted pensive notes to create the perfect platform for Orie Adams’ smooth, witty and charisma-soaked bars. There’s an effortless synergy between the beats and the steady soulful bars.

It’s all too easy to warm to Orie Adams as an artist, and it’s definitely not every day that we can say that. Quite honestly, he offers a sound which you could easily get obsessed with. At the very least, you’ll want to make Runaway Again a firm fixture of your Alt Melodic Hip Hop playlists. It’s an urban earworm which just won’t quit.

You can check out the official video to Orie Adams’ single Runaway Again which premiered on March 20th via YouTube.

Breaking Hip Hop Artist MJ Has Dropped Her Latest Sun-Soaked Organically Exotic Single “Falling”

If you’re curating your Summer Hip Hop playlists, you’ll want to include Breaking US artist MJ’s latest exotically sun-soaked single “Falling” produced by Rob the Matrix.

MJ’s distinctively natural RnB Hip Hop vocals are practically hypnotic. It’s all too easy to get locked into the smooth vocal melodies while MJ is versing her resonantly narrative lyrics which ooze playful wit.

Some artists aspire to reach the same heights as pioneers with their own expressive sound, while others assimilate in the hopes of getting there. MJ is definitely in the former camp. The confidence and creativity in falling makes it an unforgettable mix.

There’s little room to wonder why there’s so much hype around her cathartically expressive sound. You’ll want her on your radar sooner rather than later.

SwifStyle lets you revisit the good times with their standout Funk-driven Hip Hop track “Throwback”

https://open.spotify.com/track/0u76ZxVRqnhVKahw76qlLD

The standout single Throwback from breaking Alt Hip Hop artist SwifStyle’s latest album “The Renaissance Movement, Phase 1” serves up an infectiously adrenalizing dose of Funk and Soul. It almost makes Daft Punk’s tracks sound flat.

Throwback may aid nostalgia by catapulting you back to the time when Disco and Funk were King. But the vibrantly eclectic approach to production ensured that Throwback is as fresh as Alt Hip Hop comes.

Expect killer acoustic basslines, sensually charismatic vibing vocals, and electrically-charged melodies which will stick to your synapses long after the track has faded to a close. It’s not every day we come across a track with such visceral soul and connectable expressive passion. Don’t hang around getting SwifStyle on your radar. They won’t be up and coming for long.

Sikán – Thinkin Bout It featuring Barry Brannum: Sensually Smooth Flowing RnB Hip Hop

Urban elements of the past and the future converge in the recently released sublimely sensual single from up and coming Hip Hop artist Sikán.

It may be a little too early in the year to dub the track the sexiest offering of Hip Hop we’ve heard in 2020. But I can’t imagine many artists having the ability to match the sex appeal which drips from Thinkin Bout It.

The salacious lyrics are one thing, but the sensory melodic guitar rhythms are quite another. As if that wasn’t enough, you get to drink in the chemistry between Sikán and Barry Brannum’s meltingly smooth, yet strikingly dynamic vocals. From teasing Rap verses to indulgently harmonic vocal melodies, you’ll find all that and more in Thinkin About It. At this point, I’m sure you can hazard a guess at what the proverbial ‘it’ refers to in the track title.
