Malta’s Stanley Fenech shall summon our pool-splashed spirits with Summer Time

Showing us all that 50 is the new 20, Stanley Fenech is in a happy mood and guides us deep into a much more fulfilled place with the sun-soaked ray of sunshine that is his Summer Time.

Stanley Fenech is a Malta-born electronic music producer and multi-instrumentalist who grew up in the classical music world through his family and has constantly evolved throughout his career.

Summer Time from Malta-born electronic music producer Stanley Fenech is a calming single with minimal fuss. That’s the point it appears. This is for all the humans in the world who want to forget about their lives. Splashing around is the aim. Experimental you’d say. There’s something rather joyous about this song and it might even swap a frown into a smile.

In a dark time for humanity, perhaps this will ease the worries away into the bottom of the swimming pool.

Life Flies By: Chellcy Reitsma sends the lost souls a fitting tribute with ‘Happy New Year’

After previously gracing our awaiting ears with the absolute gem ‘Desolate Days’ from September 2020, the inspiring Californian-born Chellcy Reitsma sends out a tear-inducing effort for us to warmly embrace called ‘Happy New Year‘.

Chellcy Reitsma is a Valletta, Malta-based Dutch-American indie musician and poet who fuses the line between blues and alt-rock in her own incomparable way.

With such galvanizing vocals that takes your breath away for a few seconds, there is no one quite like Chellcy Reitsma. She sings like a true angel sent to guide us and shines a light on the past which hurts her – but somehow makes her stronger and more determined than ever – to make sure that her life is lived in the right way.

This feels like a story that is all about trying to stay positive and to give thanks to those who sadly can’t be here, as they have been lost into the winds of life. Sung with a heartfelt style that seems to flourish like a bird looking for a new nest, this is an emotional single that has clearly been made with so much personal attachment.

Happy New Year‘ from the Valletta, Malta-based Dutch-American indie solo artist and poet Chellcy Reitsma, is a quite stunning effort from an artist who vows to fight on no matter who is left. ‘Desolate Days’ from Chellcy Reitsma feat. Edward Mifsud is a song about the wild times in 2020

Desolate Days’ from Chellcy Reitsma feat. Edward Mifsud is a song all about the strange landscape that we find ourselves in 2020.

Mellieha, Malta is currently the home of this fantastic singer with such a true voice that is so rare these days, she sings with class and poise on ‘Desolate Days’.

Chellcy Reitsma is fairly new to the music scene but not to the stage; a true artist in every capacity. Originally from California, she grew up in a musical family exposed to American folk, rock and full gospel. She graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in visual arts with three degrees.

After graduation, Chellcy started her own ethnic dance company and toured around the world performing with many bands and drummers enjoying international recognition within the ethnic dance scene.

After starting her musical journey in 2015 due to major dance injuries forcing her to retire from dancing. Chellcy had always wanted to try her hand at singing-songwriting but never had the time, so she quickly seized the opportunity to start a new chapter and follow her music dreams. Chellcy is now a rising star in the music scene with her own unique fusion style and a retro edge that blends a touch of jazz, with blues and alternative rock.

Desolate Days’ from Chellcy Reitsma feat. Edward Mifsud is so relevant in this wild pandemic and we all hope that it ends soon so we can go back to life. This is a lovely song from such a talented duo who fuse so many styles in one to create such beauty.
