US alt-indie artist KennethWayne’s experimental sound is constantly in flux; taken from his LOOK UP mixtape is the best introduction to his eccentrically affable style. Sound of Regret is a sweetly kaleidoscopic hit of lo-fi psych-pop that retains soul despite the retrospective melancholy.

Between the kicking percussion, accordant guitar chords and the masterful straight-off-the-tape-deck vibes, if Sound of Regret fails to leave you feeling endeared, you can assume your soul is defunct. Fans of Elliott Smith, the Beatles and Nick Drake definitely won’t want to miss out on this release.

Take a kaleidoscopic trip with singer-songwriter Louie Miles’ latest ethereal indie psych-pop hit, ‘City Living’.

‘City Living’ is the latest ethereal lo-fi psych-pop track from up and coming independent singer-songwriter Louie Miles. With tinges of 60s psych-pop, the same arcanely evocative air as artists such as Mazzy Star and Elliot Smith, it’s a blissfully kaleidoscopic hit from start to finish.

Between the mellow accordance of the guitars and the choral vocals, you will find an overarching sense of detachment that comes via the lyrics that allow you to resonate with the sense of directionless and cityscape detachment.

For his latest release, East London-based solo artist Yves Steady curated his demos from the past four years and invited listeners on a journey of intimate aural exploration; the best introduction to his artfully psychedelic sound is Chamomile King. The semi-orchestral soundscape resonates like a garagey, drowsy take on Charlatans while feeding in the same stylish, evocative despondence of Dinosaur Jr.

The sweet and steady chords in the choral feat of new wave indie couldn’t possibly hold more catharsis when they are up against the vocals that sit perfectly in the mix without bleeding or dominating the track that will be a hit with indie, psych, art rock, and folk fans alike.

Jacobi.e – Wake Me Up in My Dreams: Intimately Glitchy Electronic Indie

‘Wake Me Up in My Dreams’ is the latest intimately glitchy feat of electronic indie released by up and coming artist and producer, Jacobi.e. The distorted jangle-pop guitars that ease you into his experimentally affable style could only be described as melodic quicksand.

There are some fairly obvious nods to the styles of the Weeknd and the Midnight, but with the LA-based artist’s lo-fi bedroom pop production style and their affinity for art-rock artists such as Radiohead, they’re able to deliver an engaging signature style which allows you drift through their subconscious.

Wake Me Up in My Dreams was inspired by the concept of idealism and our inability to accept the gritty nature of reality. Ironically, it’s viscerally ardent tracks like this that leave me with unrealistic romantic expectations.

Kiss Hello says an Experimental Indie Rock “Goodbye” with Their Latest Single

LA Ambient Indie Pop artist Kiss Hello has released their endearingly experimental Lo-Fi single “Goodbye (Smiling My Way Home)”. It will be some time before we fully recover from the sonically sugar-coated feat of synth-led experimentalism.

With elements of Synth Pop, Post Punk and Shoegaze in the hypnotically prodigal track, it’s safe to say that you’ve never heard anything like this before. With plenty of bendy distortion obscuring the Jangle Pop guitar notes, you’ll pick up on reminiscences to the Smiths and The Cure along with plenty of the effervescent authenticity which radiates from Kiss Hello’s galvanizingly quaint take on Indie. There’s also a lot to be said by their resoundingly dynamic vocals which won’t fail to test your soul’s capacity to feel.

Bones & Bukenya are set to drop their stunningly masterful Alt-Indie Folk Pop single “SHE” on September 25th.

Transfixingly hypnotic Hawaiian surf rhythms introduce the track and bring the catharsis, when you find yourself in the midst of the harmonically timeless production, you’ll also find that you’re consumed by the restoratively oceanic single which stands as a testament to Bones & Bukenya’s authenticity.

Even sweeter than the stylistically soulful vibes that they were able to orchestrate through pairing their dual vocals with the mellifluous instrumentals are the lyrics which pay ode to women who know their value and shine with the confidence they exude.

Despite the quiescent tranquil air to SHE, it’s an incredibly powerful record that you’ll definitely want to give repeat attention.

Is there anything better than belated epiphanies which occur after you realise that other people in this world are never the source of your happiness or purpose? Mitchel Logan’s Alt Lo-Fi RnB track Don’t Really Need You perfectly captures that liberating feeling of elation.

Don’t Really Need You holds the same accordant appeal of Lou Barlow’s melodically intimate solo project, yet, any comparisons to Mitchel Logan’s sound are incredibly fleeting. What starts out as a lofty minimalist Indie production evolves into a passion-soaked intensely beautiful track which simply drips with empowerment. If your self-esteem needs a boost after a romantically tragic battering, hit play.

Avery has released her absorbingly intimate Indie Alt Pop single “Indebted to the Gravity”

Up and coming Alternative artist Avery’s latest single “Indebted to the Gravity” proves that you don’t need a flashy pristinely polished production to make an impression on the airwaves. Simply offering a connectable raw soundscape is all it takes.

The lo-fi production in Indebted to the Gravity gives the release an absorbing intimacy which compels you to immerse yourself even deeper into the slightly morose yet powerfully compelling soundscape.

The quiescent almost whispered vocals run through the candid lyrics which come without pretence, just unbridled honesty. Creating the perfect platform for Avery’s vocals are the soft and accordant electronic beats which spill warmth into the ethereally magnetic mix. It’s hypnotic from start to finish. There truly is little room to wonder why so many Alt Pop fans return to her resolving sound.

Dinoboy – Supersad: Magnetically Resonant Lo-Fi Alt Rock

If your Elliott Smith records don’t quite bring you the same pensive catharsis as they used to, delve into the latest Lo-Fi Alt Rock track “Supersad” to be released by Dinoboy.

Supersad is a turbulently evocative track, and the pensive sting will hit far before the Grungy chorus which pairs over-driven guitars with melancholy-infused Indie Rock vocals.

Despite the short and bitter-sweet duration of Supersad, there’s plenty of progression in the intimately raw soundscape. As Supersad unravels, you’re treated to Garage Rock, Melodic Indie, Grunge, and Pop Punk making the track as dynamic as it is sincere.

Any fans of Pavement, Fidlar, and The Smashing Pumpkins definitely won’t want to miss out on this release. Despite being produced in the artist’s bedroom, it’s more than worthy of a spot on your playlist.

Alt Indie Artist Noved Remmah has released an ambiently capricious aural gem with “Dummy_gaze”

If you appreciate tracks which unfurl with unfiltered, unpolished, pure creative expression, you’ll be as hooked by US-based artist and producer Noved Remmah’s latest release as we were.

Their latest self-produced Lo-Fi Indie single Dummy_gaze serves up eccentricity, ambience, and Funk in a soundscape which may be unfamiliar but each aural curveball will heighten your curiosity and draw you deeper into the mix.

With elements of Indie, Synth Pop and Hip Hop all joining the smorgasbord of influences, Dummy_gaze is as capricious as Indie gets. The soulfully distinctive vocals retain their mesmeric appeal from start to finish while the hazy soundscape throws psychedelic blues guitar licks your way around downtempo Hip Hop beats.

It’s safe to say that you’ve never heard anything quite like this before.
