By My Side: FERNE jumps on the district line with her lover on Stay Here

After previously moving away from a love cheat on the excellent Louisa in January 2022, FERNE has dropped a hugely unforgettably sweet summer love song to hold hands with all night on the I-need-you-tonight anthem, Stay Here.

Born in Philadelphia, based in southwest London, FERNE is a Kingston, UK-based indie alternative 4-piece band (formally a solo act) who randomly met at a music showcase and their friendship has grown rather brilliantly from there.

FERNE started her music career when she moved to London in 2019 to study music technology at university. She was discovered at the regional finals of an open mic competition in London where she was signed to an artist development program and has been creating ever since.” ~ FERNE (https://www.fernemusic.com/about)

Displaying such tender care in an often lonely world, FERNE shall warm chilly hearts in a nanosecond. This is quality all the way through and might cause a smile to form no matter what genre you usually like.

Stay Here from Kingston, UK-based indie alternative act FERNE is such a wonderfully dreamy single all about expressing feelings that many rather avoid. Showing us deep inside the ups and downs of a romance which has stood the test of time, as it naturally connects two hearts as one.

Sung with so much love and cute passion to make a blush form when most needed, we are rejuvenated by a truly genuine release to hold onto during those nippy nights.

Tune into this fine new single on Spotify.

Therapy from Kingston, Ontario-based indie hip hop artist Alick Mac, is a reminder that anything is possible if you’re in the right frame of mind. Looking for that way to defeat that weakness is the mission, as the path to dependance is absolutely worth the self-enlightened expedition.

The special day to enjoy: Kingston Alt-Rock outfit Automan sing so passionately on ‘Will You Stay For Christmas’

https://soundcloud.com/automanautoman/will-you-stay-for-christmas-1/s-DjstDDteSLz

The familiar bells ring out as the glittered vocals echo brightly from the inspired headphones on ‘Will You Stay For Christmas‘ from Kingston, London group Automan.

This is a modern day Christmas tune that is so welcome in this sad year. This is the story about wanting those close to stay for Christmas and never leave, the bond of this special day is there for all to enjoy this year and to try and forget the worries for one day at least.

Inspired by such wonderful artists such as Roxy Music, Radiohead, R.E.M. Flaming Lips, Orange Juice, Grandaddy and Neil Young, this is a duo that has morphed into a band over the years. They encompass more instruments too as piano, synth and electro beats have found their way into the family dinner table with the trusty guitar and breathless vocals of course. Huw and Freddie wanted more company to eat with after playing together since they were 12 years old. Music really is a family after all.

His voice is so honest and passionate, each word so meaningful and the band add such cinematic elegance to the wonderful Christmas song. If only a new Home Alone movie could be made as this would be a perfect fit as a lead soundtrack.

Santa’s 2020 theme song is here with London band Automan providing us with a welcome distraction from the depressing news cycle on ‘Will You Stay For Christmas’. This is a lovely song that is for the whole family in our time of need.
