Post-hardcore meets hip hop in SEER SEEKER’s viscerally bruising standout release, GONE TOO LONG

Post-hardcore meets nu-metal and creates friction with hard-hitting hip-hop in the standout cinematic mash-up, GONE TOO LONG, from the hotly anticipated debut album TO THE CORE, from SEER SEEKER.

For the seminal track from the LP, SEER SEEKER took the foundation laid by Linkin Park and launched it into a brand-new scintillating atmosphere, which channels the same tumultuous visceralism as ground-breaking artists in the vein of Wage War, Polaris, and Fit for a King. While some artists are content getting up to speed with the contemporary curve, others are palpably determined to sit on a plateau above it. SEER SEEKER is definitively in the latter camp.

High-octane enigmatic energy courses through the electrifying release as SEER SEEKER uses every ounce of their volition to make the weight of the lyricism cascade with bruising and deeply affecting impact. Between the cross-appeal of the monolithic aesthetic and the up-and-coming artist’s maniacally larger-than-life charisma, you’d be hard-pressed to find a more promising breakthrough post-hardcore artist on the airwaves right now.

TO THE CORE was officially released on December 22. Stream it in full on Spotify.

Wild Rellzz is manically magnetic in his hardcore hustler hip-hop anthem, Papi Chulo ft Young Tigg and Proj3ct Miami

With bars that make Busta Rhymes sound sedate, Wild Rellzz is on maniacally head-spinning form in his latest single, Papi Chulo. After the drop, sleeping on Rellzz will be as impossible as napping through a tornado as it rips through your neighbourhood. To say that his hustler hip-hop is a force to be reckoned with is a massive understatement.

In addition to his high-fire solo work, Wild Rellzz, also known as Jamal Hunte, is also a part of the rap collective Proj3ct Miami. The rapper, entertainer and dancer isn’t the only talent in the family; his older brother is a name that resounds around Miami, Young Tigg.

Rellzz has been dropping music since 2016; there is only so long the underground can contain his insurmountable talent that pairs his domineering attitude with intricately rhythmic beats, which flow as an affirmation that he’s a razor-sharp cut above the rest. The ethereally filmic samples adding atmosphere around the heavy percussive rattle is an alchemic combination.

Papi Chulo is now available to stream on Spotify.

Baby Tap evokes 90s nostalgia and advocates authenticity with his latest single, ‘Be Myself’.

Baby Tap

‘Be Myself’ is the latest short and sweet single to come from the unapologetically authentic Nottingham UK-based artist, rapper and producer Baby Tap – emphasis on the sweet.

The repetition of “I can be anything, but I just want to be myself’ hammers home the affirmation that you don’t have to share anyone’s vision of success; you can break the mould with your very own. With Baby Tap’s industrial hardcore and cyberpunk influences, he’s perceptibly leading by example.

Along with being a high fire feat of alt EDM hip hop that advocates individuality, Be Myself serves as a time capsule to the 90s with clever references to Pokemon and Power Rangers to evoke nostalgia and remind you of the times when finding Charizard cards felt like the pinnacle of success.

You can check out Baby Tap on SoundCloud, keep up to date with new releases via Facebook.
