That Much Is True: Blake Rave helps out a special person as he truly cares on ‘Oxygen’

With a we-can-get-past this-mentality of never giving up even when the chips are down on the ground, Blake Rave looks into their tearful eyes and vows to be there forever no matter what on ‘Oxygen‘.

Blake Rave is a Midwest-based indie rock singer-songwriter who performs with a peaceful energy that has you clicking the lighter on and swinging it slowly in the air.

Although not one who craves attention or the spotlight, Rave feels completely at home on stage and has a way of connecting to his audience during a live show. Blake Rave is laidback, unpretentious and his authenticity as a person can be heard through his music.” ~ Blake Rave

There is much to admire about Blake Rave, who projects his message with the utmost class and honesty. His vocals are so toned and crisply delivered – as he shows us that real kindness is definitely not a weakness – in a world where heroes are often hiding away in the shadows.

Oxygen‘ from the soulful Midwest, USA-based indie rock singer-songwriter Blake Rave, is such a peaceful effort from a truly kind soul. He sees that a close friend is feeling down and needs his help, to get past everything that is holding them back from finding that ever-lasting happiness. Sung with a calm and strong ambience of hope, this is exactly the kind of message we all need to hear on this cold planet full of doubters.

I Ain’t Good For You: The mysterious Ma$ia tells her straight up on ‘Energy’

As he tells her honestly how he feels, Ma$ia looks above for that powerful ‘Energy‘ he is striving for in this complex world that can you wrap your mind in undesirable plastic if you aren’t careful.

Ma$ia is a dynamic new producer/musician, who makes that strikingly real sound through his blunt lyrics that tell it how it really is, without sugarcoating anything for show.

With his varied influences including jazz, hip-hop and RnB, you feel a sense of deepness about his whole demeanor as he sings with that style that lets you know that he is backing up each word. This song flows through your curious veins as you feel his frustration with his current predicament, as he is sub-consciously moving to a different place to make his mark in his own way.

Energy‘ from the mystifying dual producer/singer/rapper Ma$ia, is a truthful tale about wanting ones own space for a while as you work out what you truly want in life. Life is wild and being pulled into different tempting directions isn’t at all what you are feeling right now, as you search for the positive energy vibration that feels just right in your soul.

Rockin’ instrumentals with ‘Switcharoo’ (Official Music Video) from North Sydney’s The Dolphin Show

The Dolphin Show rock in with their latest awesome track on the energetic ‘Switcharoo‘.

The Dolphin Show was formed in Sydney, Australia by four 18 year old boys jamming in a damp garage. From there, the rest is history. This is one of the most exciting live bands in the country and their name is rising.

This is the latest single from The Dolphin Show, from their new EP ‘Thick Black Brain Blood‘. The latest EP is out 23rd of September and this is a band that really gives it all on stage with their ferocious energy.

The Dolphin Show is a spicy four-piece Zinger meal deal with a solo. These intense chicken wings absolutely sing when dipped into a purified mash & gravy. I love how the band describe themselves and this is exactly how they sound. With a vibe that is energetic throughout and also has a very authentic sound. This is exciting stuff. ‘Switcharoo‘ from The Dolphin Show wins the day with this rockin’ track that certainly gets the taste-buds alive and dancing.

River Lynch and The Spiritmakers: Resonant Reverb For The Revivalists.

River Lynch and The Spiritmakers have dropped their brand-new track ‘Straight Through’ complete with a stunningly visual video that’s a serendipitous dream for all of my fellow rock revivalists. Their combination of Rock n’ roll, blues, and folk rock is insatiably delectable combined with the charisma of one of the most charming front men that’s graced the rock genre.

Originating from Rochester, New York; Lynch has his work cut out for himself contending with a drift of musicians that are all as heavy as the snow fall. Fans all across NY who have had the pleasure to witness this enigmatic foursome live, all know that they transcend the typical Rochester noise.

The band exude the same style of The Black Keys, Black Rebel Motorcyle Club & The Jim Jones Review, but with so much soul and modern energy behind their music the comparison hardly seems fair. Their debut track is packed full of resonant reverb from the effortless talent of lyricist, vocalist and guitarist River Lynch. There’s not many guitarists that are blessed with the ability to create the jingle of Johnny Marr, the guitar solo is everything you’d expect from a band that exudes vibrantly vintage nostalgic sound.

From start to finish the track is a true audiophiles delight. Undoubtedly by far my favourite element of this track was the lyrical diversity from Lynch as he transgressed from graunching gravelly vocals to hitting the resonant highs, whilst drenching you in gloriously riff heavy ensembles combined with piercing drum rolls and a uniquely delectable organ infused sound.

David Ryan Releases A Heartfelt Song ‘My Love’

David Ryan is a singer and songwriter with a really unique approach.

His music can be considered intimate and emotional, yet there is a lot of energy that goes behind his approach and vision. David’s recent single, My Love, is a heartfelt song with romantic lyrics and edgy vibes, which truly showcases the artist’s driven attitude. Although David makes music that sounds familiar in a sense, he does not comply with the typical cliches of the genre, choosing instead to develop a unique tone and a very special vision.

The result? total focus on the music itself! On “My Love”, the vibes are just spot on. This track is a little gem with all the right feels in the right places. Down to the meticulously arranged melodies, I am particularly impressed by the attentive approach to production. This song is romantic, yet no trite. Energetic, yet not basic…just the perfect balance.

Abigail’s ‘Perfect Storm’ is a true cocktail of pop and electronica

https://youtu.be/drUSI15AbOk

Abigail is a singer and songwriter with a distinctive voice and a very special production approach.

Her new single release is mellow, yet somewhat dark and haunting, echoing the work of artists like Portishead or Tori Amos, but with more energy. The beat has an amazing impact and a unique punch, while the beautiful layers of vocals really allow the song to stand out and reach an amazing depth.

The song opens up with a really great chorus, where Abigail managed to unleash an insane vocal hooks, rising the volume and intensity of her singing, only to take it softer again in the verses. The wide range of this singer’s voice is amazing: in the verses, she can create a smooth, warm tone, while in the courses, she manages to cut through the mix seamlessly, with control and grit, while remaining melodic and appealing. The bridge is also memorable, with a sparse beat and some cool vocals on the forefront.

This song is a true cocktail of pop and electronica, but with the energy of rock.

MARK’s ‘Lost Perspective’ explores five unique love stories expressed in five different ways.

There is nothing that screams summer like a good hook and a crisp beat. On “Glassheart”, MARK set out to showcase his vocal skills and his great approach to songwriting, with a song that feels catchy and creative. The tune has strong ties with modern EDM, with awesome side-chained synth bursts, deep beats, and punchy melodies.

I particularly love the edgy pitch-shifting effects, adding something unique to the textures of this driven track.
The lyrics to the song are romantic and introspective, yet MARK is able to truly bring some energy to the table. This is one of the tracks that begs to be listened to at loud volumes.

His vocal skills are truly spot on, not only because of his ability to reach a broad dynamic range with his lead vocals but also because of how he can complement his main vocal hooks with some truly great harmonies with an open feel.
