Seattle’s Christian Rock Reverend Ryan Graves Used His Credence to Create an Electrifying Alt-Rock Hit with ‘Enemy’

Impressively, Ryan Graves is fresh from the release of his second LP of 2023; far from new to the game, he became an integral part of Seattle’s Christian alt-rock scene in the 90s; with his latest album, Human, which stands up to the cataclysmic threat of AI, Graves definitively proved that he can still hit the high-fire mark.

With a rap-rock edge that is just as sharp as the ones carved by The Beastie Boys in the verses of the standout single, Enemy, and classic rock credence making its way into the choruses, it is an electrifyingly hair-raising hit that mainlines the adrenaline through the post-rock instrumentals that create a platform for Graves’ piously enlightening vocals.

Graves’ latest album, Human, was officially released on September 11; stream it on Spotify now.

Australia’s Cannon blast in with lead single ‘Enemy’ from forthcoming debut album

Melbourne, Australia is the home of the exciting outfit Cannon. They blast in the dusty music venue with lead single ‘Enemy‘ from their forthcoming debut album. This is that Ozzie rock that we all needed to quench that thirst for rocking music.

Recorded and mixed by Fabian Hunter, mastered by Nao Anzai and with artwork by Mary Streepy, this is a lively indie rock single with a band that is so right together, this is a high-paced journey that will take your breath away. This is that jam a long band to sway your whole body to and just dance.

This is the kind of local band you go and watch live. New in name but the years of experience shows through here. The sharp vocals cut through the speakers with the catchy rhythm that is of guitar riff in abundance. The lights are on real bright here, this is a song that is perfect for 2020. We are all looking for the enemy instead of the opposite. The world is backwards and the world needs music to inspire our confused hearts.

‘Enemy, Enemy, who’s your Enemy?’ rings through and Cannon are an act to watch closely. This new band have that extra bit of quality is so rare.

Swami Lushbeard releases Enemy: Infusing that old school Rock sound

Hailing from Los Angeles, Swami Lushbeard has dropped their latest single ‘Enemy’, now this is one hell of a throwback to the 80’s Rock scene, but giving it a more modernised twist and it’s perfect.

Starting off with the bash on the bass drum and the pluck on the electric guitar strings as the hit on the cymbal takes place, switching to the hardcore tune on the piano and combining each element to create this loud and manic instrumentation. But also having that occasional funk sound to it with the upbeat and lively melodies that flow in and out.

Having a rather gravelly tone to the voice, adding in that heap load of energy as it courses through the sound throughout. Having these infectious harmonies and grooves and you can’t help but love them as they combine all the elements of a hit rock song together and completely smash it.

Now if you’re a rock lover, be sure to check this one out.
