Darth Athena – Exploration: Absorbingly Calmative Trance

https://soundcloud.com/darth-athena/exploration

With intoxicatingly hypnotic rhythms which will disrupt your own rhythmic pulses, you only need to hit play on Darth Athena’s Trance mix “Exploration” to recognise the ingenuity.

If you’re not already acquainted with the Atlanta-based electronica producer, the arcanely vibrant, cinematically produced track makes for the perfect introduction to Darth Athena’s absorbingly calmative production style. You’ll feel the momentum build right the way through Exploration which will have you on the edge of your seat, or more appropriately, on the dancefloor.

We constantly come across ingeniously creative artists getting a fraction of the acclaim they deserve, but Exploration has been yet another hit for Darth Athena. The track has racked up over 45k on SoundCloud alone since the release. And with the transcendent grips of the soundscape, there’s little room to wonder why. It demands repeat attention.

Beau Zillion – Venice Beach: An Aural Offering of Electro-Trance Treatment

If your Trance playlists are sounding a little stale, then it is my absolute pleasure to introduce you to the up and coming producer Beau Zillion and his latest drop Venice Beach. Although he’s made it pretty damn impossible to allow me to capture the momentously euphoric vibe in words. I could tell you that the drops are dizzying and the build ups are almost enough to give you palpitations, but that doesn’t come close to allowing you to imagine the viscerally swelling and inviting ecstasy which hits you through every fluid progression of the beat.

With little use for a prelude, the beat hits you instantaneously and leads you right the way through the extended mix which treats you to over six minutes of swirling Trance progression. The Los Angeles-based producer has irrefutably strengthened and matured his style since he first started putting out tracks in 2017, but I’ve got a feeling, the best is yet to come.
