Time to Play: Dbn Kai tells haters they will be stomped into submission on In the Way

Inspired since he was young by legends such as Jay-Z and the late great DMX, Dbn Kai has dropped a massive track to stack it all up with as he shines so high that birds frolic in the sky bouncing to his beat on In the Way.

Dbn Kai is a Baltimore-based indie hip-hop artist who slices weak rappers from the earth with his ravenous style to pick up the mood of many who need a new hero to turn up loud.

Bodybuilding his way into our gym-of-life with potent power and self-motivation, Dbn Kai has lifted our mindsets with much might with a hardcore rap song to put on repeat. This is heavy stuff and shall guide us away from the commercial and back into the underground.

In the Way from Baltimore-based indie rapper Dbn Kai is the kind of statement track which will surely move small-minded fools out of our vision forever. Hard and speaker-shaking, this is the kind of 5 am track to play on repeat while getting the grind on.

We find a massively motivated artist who just wants to eat a hearty meal, in a world where so many are looking to pinch anything they can without putting any previous effort in to improve their situation.

If you like rugged rap, you have just found it.

What Friedrich Nietzsche is to philosophy, Vontred is to hip hop with his dark and gritty single, Nihilistic Deathbed

Starting with the question, do you ever feel like you have overslept your life? Vontred’s standout single, Nihilistic Deathbed, from his 2022 album, Dark Corners of a Broken Mind, is definitively a release that will comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable.

For hip hop fans who feel like their life can be defined by the voids in it, the up-and-coming artist is bound to bring a world of resonance and nihilistic solidarity. I, for one, can fully get on board with the bars that breed solidarity with every line delivered in the snappy, dominant, no holds barred track.

Stylistically, Vontred’s sonic signature in Nihilistic Deathbed isn’t worlds away from the gritty, grime-y, bass-heavy dark hip hop vibes in DMX’s more visceral tracks, but clearly, his sound is of his own making as it wraps around his lyrical themes that Friedrich Nietzsche would be proud of.

Nihilistic Deathbed is now available to stream on SoundCloud.

Edubb302 brought gangster rap back fiercely enough to give you whiplash with his latest single, Bout a Dollar

Despite his up-and-coming status, rapper and songwriter, Edubb302 is blazing across the airwaves and garnering plenty of hype with his top tracks. His latest single, Bout a Dollar, is for every rap fan that wants to throw back to the definitive era of hip hop while enjoying new school flavour.

The Wilmington, DE-hailing artist takes influence from the likes of Tupac, Mase, DMX, Lil Baby and Lil Durk; for his own sound, he went in his smooth domineering style that makes his tracks a minefield of instrumental and lyrical hooks you can’t evade before being pulled into the angsty hip hop flow, which Edubb302 honed during his time in state prison in Pennsylvania. If you are looking for the real deal. You will find it when you hit play.

Bout a Dollar is now available on Spotify.

Zeke Avery – Henny Talk: Keeping Hip Hop Lit

Zeke Avery may very well be the future of Hip Hop. His latest track Henny Talk is on fire & taking the scene by storm.

His debut track which was released earlier this year is pounding, resonant, pure dirty R&B Hip Hop, not many artists can achieve this level of flow in their tracks. Yet the Connecticut based Rapper & Song Writer infuses such passion within the sound it’s impossible not to be encapsulated by the infectious tone. It’s a euphoric hyped beat that has been expertly produced.

It’s about time that Zeke Avery took centre stage after ghost writing for other artists. Even though this track is essentially about being minted and getting wasted. It still captivated me through the charismatic lyrical flow. If any rapper deserves to get wasted on Hennessy, it’s Avery. He’s developed an impeccable style based on his influences which include Rakim, Nas, & DMX. His sound is a cacophony of versatility.

Avery dropped his first ever single, back in December 2016, new music is constantly in demand from his fans, and there is little wonder why, if you like harsh paced R&B; this track is for you.
