Christian & Gospel sensation Remilekun radiated redemption in her latest single, WORTHY

80s-ESQUE Pop-rock and Christian & Gospel rarely converge, but the up-and-coming celestial soulstress, Remilekun proved that spellbindingly redemptive things happen when they do in her latest single, WORTHY, which officially released on February 24th.

With guitar solos that will stir the souls of anyone pious for Prince against the salvation-soaked high harmonic stretches and the lyrics that work with the sole aim of reaching out to anyone feeling the sting of self-perceived worthlessness, the single is an essential extension of hope.

Feeling unworthy is a dangerous trap to fall into, but one that depression and unlucky circumstances can dangle a carrot in front of and allow us to plunge into the murky depths of, but as so elevatedly exhibited by Remilekun, stepping into the light is always an option. No matter who you are, where you have been, or what you have done.

Shelia Moore- Piper exudes untaintedly pure uplifting soul in Single Lady, featuring rapper Tyrik Tell.

For her standout track, Single Lady, the multi-award-winning Houston-hailing Christian soul artist, Shelia Moore- Piper collaborated with one of the smoothest rappers in the game, Tyrik Tell to speak to the fairer sex through a classy empowering RnB earworm, which proves just how visceral feminine power can be.

With Piper’s harmonic pitch-perfection mixed with Tell’s luxe rap verses, the seductive magnetism of the pure untainted soul is strong enough to pull you right into the centre of the epiphanous jazzy mix, produced by the BDM Upgroove Music brand.

Mike Marshall reached the pinnacle of impassioned pious pop with his debut single, Jesus.

Columbus, GA singer-songwriter Mike Marshall introduced his momentously evocative vocals to the airwaves in 2020 through his debut single, Jesus. If you are yet to introduce yourselves to his impassioned pious gospel pop style, there’s no better track to acquaint yourselves with.

Sonically, the debut single, which features Darren Parrish, carries all of the hallmarks of an epic soul-pop ballad. Yet, instead of fixating on interpersonal storms, the single stands as a testament to Mike Marshall’s mission to introduce humanity to the love of and healing which comes hand in hand with faith.

Even if it doesn’t leave you inclined to run off to church, the incandescent soul in the celestially arresting soundscape is enough to lift you alone; the gorgeously layered choral vocals are enough to leave you reaching for the tissues. Based on his debut, we can’t wait to hear what his debut LP, Come On In, will deliver. Come On In was created via a crowd-funded campaign, and it will be due for release in March 2022. It scarcely comes as a surprise that his community wants to get behind his talent. Our radar is an infinitely more vibrantly soulful place with his name on it.

Jesus. Is now available to stream on Spotify.

DONALD NIGHT – Broken: A Sermon in a Soundscape

Christian & Gospel artist, DONALD NIGHT, released his soulfully sermonic single, Broken, earlier this year; with old school blues nuances feeding into the melody behind the stridently passionate vocals as they instil hope and resilience in the listener, Broken succeeds in lifting spirits to the same level as NIGHT’s.

With so many people out there self-diagnosing themselves as broken, DONALD NIGHT’s single is a timely triumph as it reminds listeners that giving up is never the only option. Even those who don’t find themselves religiously inclined will find salvation in this single. For the pious, Broken has all the makings of a mood-boosting playlist staple.

https://open.spotify.com/track/2ACIUxinUs4f065JVOExfy?si=Q6CgJxJeR3KU0Bm9gUKdbQ

Prepare to have your preconceptions about Christian music shattered by up and coming artist Beanie Duhh’s Electronic hit “Open to Christ”.

Open to Christ is just one of the singles which you’ll find on the artist’s mould-breaking 2020 album “A Reflection” which provides 42-minutes of cathartic aural escapism.

Open to Christ has the perfect tone, momentum and vibe to feed you tranquil aural ecstasy. The instrumental mix never needed lyrics to convey the feel-good essence of the soundscape. Beanie Duhh’s intent when he crafted the short and sweet ambient jam is all too apparent in the deftly crafted melodies.

We’ll definitely be putting Beanie Duhh on our radar to see what follows their seminal release.
