Cera Gibson – Sad B*tch: Artfully Catchy EDM Pop

Even though very few artists succeed when finding the perfect balance between edgy and catchy, Cera Gibson perceptibly succeeded with her latest perennial Pop earworm “Sad B*tch”.

The vocals may share reminiscences with artists such as Lady Gaga, but it’s through the atmospheric EDM Pop instrumentals where Cera Gibson’s sound truly comes into its own. For her signature sound, the Salt Lake City-based artist borrowed a few elements from Hip Hop, giving the beats the same ensnaring mesmerism which you’d find in darker feats of Hip Hop.

You may just find that the melodies which you’re drawn into by the instrumental hooks refuse to leave you alone after this arcanely crafted aural gem has faded to a close.

If you’re looking for an aural pick me up, look no further than up and coming artist Elle Exxe’s energetically enamouring AntiPop track “Rose Gold”.

The authentically creative synth-led soundscape pulls in influence from a myriad of different genres to ensure that you’ve never heard a track quite like this before. With a nuanced infusion of Pop Punk in the synthy mix which should also appeal to fans of 80s Synth Pop, it’s safe to say that Elle Exxe created a hit with Rose Gold.

If you could imagine what it would sound like if Panic at the Disco, Taylor Swift, and the Human League collaborated on a record together, you might be able to get an idea of the kind of refreshingly high-energy mesmerism awaits you in Rose Gold.
