Alissa. – Bubblegum: Unapologetically Attitude-Driven RnB Pop

https://open.spotify.com/track/2PtFAaiTNP6lX2jjnT9JqU

Bubblegum” is just one of the fiercely convictive unapologetically attitude-driven Pop hits on breaking artist Alissa.’s debut EP of the same title. If any track could be referred to as the 21st century equivalent to TLC’s No Scrubs, it’s Bubblegum.

From the first verse, you’ll be hooked into the RnB-laced mix by Alissa.’s scathing lyrical wit. Yet, Alissa.’s vocals match the same poised and perfectly pitched nature of the electronic instrumentals making it all too easy to get hooked into the mix.

Pop debuts don’t get much more promising than this empowering earworm which offers potent amounts of connectable resonance – especially if you’ve had recent encounters to wasters with ideas above their stations. Alissa.’s playfully antagonistic approach to RnB Pop isn’t one which you’ll forget in a hurry.

Marcus Brookins – So Will I: Resoundingly Visceral Pop Rock

The amount of conviction found in the title to Marcus Brookins’ latest Pop Rock single “So Will I” is a drop in the ocean to what is in store for you if you hit play on this compelling feat of Christian & Gospel.

The thought-evoking lyrics, the sheer sincerity of the vocal delivery, and resounding genre-transcending instrumental arrangement which defies the concept of genres will leave you arrested at each progressive evolution in the soundscape. And those are just a few of the reasons why you should embark on the epic aural journey this 7-minute track will take you on.

I can guarantee your soul will feel lighter by the time you get to the outro. It’s not only instrumental build-ups which you’ll experience as So Will I progresses. The emotion consistently amplifies before leaving you with the more quiescent melodic instrumental fills to give the lyrics chance to truly resonate. Radio-Ready tracks don’t really come much more powerful than this.
