Finding that light again: London’s The Pink Nostalgia drop instant inspirational classic with ‘Pluto’

The Pink Nostalgia have one of the best band names in the game and they back it up with an outstanding new single about finding hope again called ‘Pluto‘.

Stained Glass Elephant Records signed North West London alt-electronic duo The Pink Nostalgia, are the type of group that mesmerize with an authentic type of stunningly-lit sounds that transmits so sweetly into the deepest part of your bones.

Consisting of supremely talented multi-instrumentalists Joseph O’Gorman and David Woodford, they fuse eclectic soundscapes to levels your heart will beat faster with and take you to places you didn’t know existed.

This is the deeply real story of how sometimes in life you get so low, you can’t eat for days and feel so down and lethargic. Your heart feels totally smashed and there is that sunken feeling in your body. You need to get out fast otherwise the treacherous quicksand will pull you under- as your hand reaches upwards- stretching to be held and pulled upwards by a kind soul, who truly cares about you.

The lovely vocals are meshed so beautifully together as you remember talking about stars are being wrapped into each others arms- life was so perfect and you wish you could have this moment back.

With an exciting assortment of instruments and variety, you listen to each second so intently as this is a special song that you don’t hear often. Its made with love and care, the spectacular build makes your body shiver and you could feel a tear drop onto your cheeks as you are put into a trance of reflection.

Pluto‘ from London alt-electronic duo The Pink Nostalgia fills your soul with a meaningful story that is very real if you have ever felt depressed, or dealt with a close one in a scary downward spiral. This is a track that was made with an inside look into what that feels like and rings the bell on anyone that needs help right now during these extremely challenging times on earth.

Life can be so harsh sometimes and when you feel like are at your lowest, you feel like you will never get out. Luckily we have music like this to help us dig ourselves out and flourish brightly again.

Indie artist Bonsai Bison trims off the edges with ”No Respect”

Bonsai Bison is a musician and visual artist based in East London in the UK. ”No Respect” is the new release for the newcomer in the music scene and this is an enjoyable single.

This is all about getting that respect that you deserve and not settling for anything else. This is a vital way to go about things otherwise you can go crazy. Being manipulated and hearing lame stories all the time that you know aren’t true is no way to live. This is experimental electronic music and I haven’t heard any style like this before. The beat takes me to a strange place and I am reflective and feel like I am in a far away place. Quite a lonely place.

Bonsai Bison is creating a niche for herself and this East London artist doesn’t conform to any particular box which is refreshing to see. There are some creative sampling here and I like the home kind of feel. This is an artist keeping busy during these crazy times and getting better and better.

Dreamy Sci-Fi Electronic Experiments with ”Life” from Dreamsonic

https://soundcloud.com/dreamsonicmusic/07-life/s-RRZEFcSdvFW

Taken off their latest 9 track album ”Reverie”, Dreamsonic are here with warped Science fiction electronic track ”Life”. This is an experience that takes you into a different galaxy, full of mystery and intrigue. I feel like I’m in an episode of Rick & Morty while listening to this.

Denton, Texas is the home of Dreamsonic, a 1 piece act that is fairly new in the music game but taking steps forward to become more and more well known. Surely a candidate to be included in a movie, ”Life” takes you on a rather strange journey that makes you feel a bit uncertain at times and very unsure about yourself. I feel a bit paranoid while listening to this song I must admit. Perhaps that was the point of the whole track, life is a very up and down trip.

With constant music coming out which is probably due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dreamsonic will definitely have their fans who urge to soak up as much of this style during the nights, the music fits the late night club scene. ”Life” is a good song, very different from what I have heard before and for that, this kind of creativity must be celebrated.

Not Uncomplicated – This World is Mine: Ominously Fierce Alt Electronica

Up and coming EDM artist Not Uncomplicated has mixed up their sound once more with the apocalyptically fresh new mix “This World is Mine”. After listening to the ominously fierce Hip Hop and Rock-infused Dark Electronica track, I’m almost inclined to believe them.

There was plenty of lyrical venom spat into the mix, but that was only matched by the conviction in the Rap delivery and the progressive intensity of the harsh beats.

Not Uncomplicated teamed up with Nekro G and Alisa Velasquez to create a track which leaves you with very little autonomous decision on whether or not you crank up the volume. But as hostile as the beats were, Alisa Velasquez’s created the perfect dynamic, her striking harmonic stretches become the humanistic anchor in this aural juggernaut of a single.
