There are very few artists with the ability to effectively weave stark wanderlust imagery into their soundscapes. Amongst them happens to be up and coming US-based artist Sonic Eater with their latest EP “Sun Eater”.
While acoustic Folk musicians may be relatively limited with acoustic guitar chord progressions, this didn’t stop Sonic Eater from creating a soundscape which would take you on an aural imagining of the landscapes which are alluded to within the singles. While each of the cathartically blissful singles on the album carried their own quintessential charm, there’s no better introduction to Sonic Eater’s well-textured and soul-splintering style. You’d be hard pressed to find an easier melody to slip into for the first time!
