Sleep House – Dizzy: Nostalgically-Inspired Indie Pop

“Dizzy” is just one of the stunning singles from Sleep House’s sophomore EP “There is No Time for Romance”. The up and coming artist’s entrancing style carries unique waves of resonance thanks to their wide range of influences. Through their EP the South Jersey-based outfit pay ode to the now archaically nostalgic tonality of bands such as the Smiths with their jangly progressions as well as taking inspiration from the clean-cut style of bands such as the 1975. The instrumentals seamlessly come together to create a tonally warm alchemic synergy providing the perfect platform for the emotionally expressive lyrics to be laid upon. The vocals are kept subtle and smooth to make Dizzy as easy to listen to as breathing.
