Mirror Mirror is one of those tracks which gives you no choice whether you get caught up in it or not. If the verse doesn’t catch you, then the chorus definitely will. With a soundscape as stylish as Sir Jeremy Green it’s hard not to get taken aback by the swathes of soulful energy that the emerging artist is pouring into his orchestrations. His talents don’t even stop at being one of the strongest male R&B Pop vocalists I’ve heard all summer; his abilities as a pianist are absolutely spellbinding. Over all, Mirror Mirror packs in more harmony than you could possibly ever ask for, and I’ve got no words for the level of hype contained within the chorus.
Any fans of the National, Moses Sumney and LCD Soundsystem will absolutely adore this summer-soaked R&B Pop hit. There really is no wonder why this track has got the attention it deserves online. I’d put money on it that this won’t be the last you hear from Sir Jeremy.
