“I Am Me” is the latest Indie Jangle Pop single from up and coming artist Shout Inferno. Rather than sounding like yet another assimilation of the 1975, Shout Inferno went further back to find their influences which give tracks such as I Am Me that unmistakably sticky sweet 80s Pop sensibility.
Layers of Funk and groove also found their way into the mix through the playfully rhythmic bass. On top of that, you’re also treated to harmonies with the capacity to make you feel nostalgic – even from the first hit of Shout Inferno’s palpably effervescent sound.
There’s no denying that I Am Me is a punchy good-vibe Alt-Pop earworm. So, it comes as no surprise that the UK-based artist hasn’t failed to amass plenty of attention since they made their debut earlier this year.
