“Nothing” is the latest inspirationally captivating Alt Indie EDM track from the recent collaboration between She’s Excited! & Discoheads. While slightly dark and ominous tonalities can be found in the electronic beats, the ethereal vibrancy of the vocals from She’s Excited gives the single an uplifting energy which works in perfect synergy to the lyricism.
“Nothing” is a siren call to darkness and apathy; an invitation to pull yourself out of stagnation – and it’s an incredibly powerful one which is sure to resonate with plenty of people. Whilst electronically rendered music which makes a visceral connection with the listener can be hard to come by, Nothing is a distinctive exception to that rule.
