Up and coming Trap artist SAV has recently dropped their latest single “Clones”. It may be a wavy, lucid, EDM beat-heavy mix, but the lyrics in Clones won’t fail to floor you – or sober you at the very least. With lines such as “we don’t get even, we get richer, you get broke”, Clones is a track which stands as a testament to SAV’s rarely heard (in Trap) ingenuity.
I’ll never be the biggest fan of heavy vocal reverb, but with Clones, there’s no denying that SAV has utilised it in an extremely efficacious way, allowing the reverb to amplify the morose soul which has been thrown into the mix.
