Robert Ellis & The LiveWires – Bon Vivant: Transcendentally Smooth Jazz Soul

Jazz and Blues have never been known for being hypnotically transcendental soundscapes, until now. The latest track Bon Vivant from Robert Ellis & The LiveWires brings Jazz well and truly into the 21st-century leaving none of the soul behind.

The organic flow of the instrumentals from the US-based quartet will take you on a cinematic aural adventure through perpetually ambient layers of Jazz. Robert Ellis & The LiveWires have kept the arrangement eclectic, enabling the listener to drink in a myriad of tonalities simultaneously. You’ll hear the pensive notes of the violin introducing the piano melodies which trickle alongside the reverb-heavy synths, while the steady hits of the drum will give the single plenty of structure.

Everything about Bon Vivant feels epic – and that’s not a word I use lightly.
