Pat Reilly – Hazy: Sticky-Sweet RnB-Soaked EDM Indie Pop

Pat Reilly’s latest Alt Pop single “Hazy” is exactly what it says on the tin. The mesmeric mix transcends the usual moody Pop which is bang on trend right now. Instead, they threw a smorgasbord of diverse emotion into the mix making it all too easy to get caught up in the fraught sentiment. From pensive lovelornness to optimistically sweet romanticism, it’s all weaved into the sublime feat of RnB-soaked EDM Indie Pop.

The smooth grooves in Hazy ensure it’s a highly danceable mix, while Pat Reilly’s vocals make sure you feel every line of the piercing lyrics penetrating as they’re delivered over the radio-ready EDM Pop instrumentals. Perceptibly, Pat Reilly held nothing back when penning the lyrics to Hazy. Not many tracks manage to eke empathy from me, but Hazy used up a substantial amount.
