With each new release PANDDA has a new testament to his versatility, and while it would be easy to get caught up with the fact that he’s the most dynamic artist on our radar right now, that may take some of the focus on the individual potency of each new perennial earworm.
With the breaking artist’s latest single “dated.” PANDDA created an emotively raw mash up of Hip Hop & Pop, using both acoustic instrumentals to add quintessence and digital effect to bring the momentum. ‘Hard-hitting’ seems like an understatement when it comes to this funk-driven work of concordance. But there are very few other ways to allude to just how powerful “dated.” is.
The track kicks off with an open admission of how sentiment can often get lost within a soundscape. Lyricists and writers know exactly what we want to say when writing but we make sure our heart and soul are cryptic enough that people probably won’t understand but we’ll still be left with a bomb track. Whereas dated leaves no message diluted, it’s right there for you to soak up along with the prodigal charismatic flair which runs right throughout the single.
