To find truly pioneering Hip Hop these days is like finding a needle in a haystack, it’s trudging through mediocre beats, apathetic lyrical flows and uninspiring lyrics. The Los Angeles based artist has just released his latest EP TRIAD in collaboration with producers Maze of Mind & Sean Friday. The vibes that they cooked up may be Lo-Fi, but the sweet resonance that every track on the EP pertains is palpable. You can taste Marshall’s range of influence and dramatically dynamic style through his debut track Run Down. The lyricism is bordering on pure genius, it raps around the fine-tuned complex beat that mixes in everything from harsh Trap snares to a violin introduction.
