Evocative soundscapes may not be an all too common feat in Electronica, yet, the up and coming Swedish duo ONEeye have more than made up for the sterility in electronically produced music with their latest single “Wanna Make U Feel”.
ONEeye made their debut earlier this year with “Empty Space”, but undoubtedly, “Wanna Make U Feel” is the best introduction to their emotively rendered electronica. There’s a fair amount of Funk infused into the constantly evolving EDM mix which incorporates elements of Prog House to feed plenty of rhythmic euphoria. Even though ONEeye has incorporated some elements of Electronic nostalgia into Wanna Make U Feel, there’s still a pioneering edge to the single which compels you to immerse yourself even deeper into the mix. Hanna Dahlberg Leuhusen’s vocals are chilling, while the co-production skills from Carl-Johan Fogelklou are dexterously captivating.
