“Mine” is the latest single released by up and coming recording artist Octobor, if you’re looking for a melodically ambient urban hit to vibe-out to you can’t go wrong with the sensual slow pacing of the R&B infused mix. There’s little room to wonder why the single has received so much attention since its release back in January 2018 thanks to the fluidity of the down-tempo paced beat which was polished to perfection. Yet, Lyrically, I felt like the track was a little predictable due to the amount of repetition. The track runs with an infectiously chilled hype, but I’d love to hear more essence from the lyrics, Octobor has a sensuous vocal style, if you added heart-wrenching lyricism to the mix then there’d be no stopping him from rising up in the ranks.
