Athens Ohio based Hip Hop artist OAL has kept himself pretty busy this year with his four new singles that he dropped in 2018, each one of them as astounding as the last. The minimalistic ambience which OAL conjures through his contemporarily pleasing sound provides the ultimate soundtrack to kick back to.
His most recent single Springbreak97’ is an alternative approach to the same old Hip Hop that we’re all tired of hearing. The instrumentally driven beat carries a charmingly lucid progression whilst the minimalistic vocals provide an almost haunting affect to the ambience of the track, through the melancholically nostalgic feel to the track.
