“Bedside Manners” is the first track to be released from the new record “Non-Neutered 1%” by the NYC-based artist The Allegations. The track serves as the perfect introduction to their playful and incredibly experimental sound, which lets their creative expression flow with very little regard to structure or genre.
The track skips the prelude and throws you right into the murky Indie mix which also incorporates plenty of funk and groove, you also may just find the friendliest keys you’ve ever heard in an Indie track. While usually I make no bones about a Lo-Fi or raw production, in this instance each note was entirely dampened which made it slightly difficult to hook into exactly what was happening with the melody. But when’s the last time you felt slightly disconcerted by an Indie track?
