Harmonic, sweet, and endearing aren’t usually words which you’d find associated with Hip Hop, yet Newschool Vintage’s alternative approach to the genre allows you to appreciate a new wave of smooth and inventive Hip Hop.
There’s plenty of progressions found within the lyrically fierce, tonally mellifluous single which is all too easy to slip into. There are just as many switch ups with the beat as there are in the lyrical flow, there really is no opportunity to get bored with See Your Eyes. Each seamless evolution of the sound is unpredictable, yet it will serve to draw you even further into the soundscape.
See Your Eyes is just one of the tracks which you will find on Newschool Vintage’s 2019 EP “Swim”, each of the tracks is as refreshingly authentic as the last, yet, See Your Eyes still remains the best introduction to their organic style of Hip Hop.
