“Come Back to Me” is the fourth single to be released by the up and coming artist Newschool Vintage. Their artist title gives you plenty of hints of how they approach the R&B genre, but it does little to prepare you for how ethereally sweet the soundscape is.
The tender delicacy of Come Back to Me is nothing short of arrestive. Through a combination of teasingly downtempo beats and endearingly lucid effects, distinction is at the core of Come Back to Me, while the essence lies in absorbing amounts of soul.
If the smooth experimental RnB beats weren’t enough, you’re also treated to an unexpected – but incredibly welcome deep bluesy guitar riff which is the cherry on the cake in Come Back to Me.
