Mimi the Artist dropped her first EP “The Features” on November 14^th. While each of the singles indicates that we have new talent on the airwaves worth getting excited about, the standout single “Nobody But Me” ft Kap G is the perfect introduction to her vibrantly soulful style.

The sun-soaked beats may be simplistic, but no complexity was needed to hook you into the melody. Nobody But Me is a track which is packed full of empowering vibes, yet, it felt like the lyrics relied on repetition rather than depth in the verses. But that’s not to say that Nobody But Me isn’t a solid hit which encompasses contemporary R&B-infused Hip Hop,
