It isn’t all too often that we’ll find any substantial amount of distinction in R&B EDM Pop, yet up and coming artist Matt Brown’s latest single “Good Morning” proved to be a deeply compelling single packed with delicate intricacies and juxtapositions.
The EDM beats provide a steady downtempo rhythm and offer a slightly sterile bassy tone – the same tone which is all too prevalent in EDM instrumental mixes. While they may not feed much emotion into Good Morning, they do serve as a perfect for Matt Brown’s contrastingly sweet Neo-Soul vocals which spill harmony and sticky sweet arrestive resonance over Good Morning.
