There was no forgetting up and coming Hip Hop artist Masdiaz after their debut single “Communication”. This time the distinctively fresh artist has treated fans of contemporary R&B Hip Hop to a track with an arrestive rhythmic flow paired with an experimental EDM beat.
“Born Killa” is a track which offers commanding energy with plenty of lyrical fire, yet, the lyrics are subtly inspiring; proving that is possible to create high-vibe Hip Hop without it resonating as superficial.
There’s a perceptible amount of conviction behind the Rap verses in Born Killa, which makes it impossible not to make a connection to the less than archetypal track. The experimentalism with the beats could have lost Born Killa its accessibility, but thanks to the stylistic production of the single there’s still a huge amount of commercial potential behind Masdiaz’ latest single.
