Mark Lawes – Moving On: A Debut of Riff-Laden Alt Rock Dreampop

Moving on is always a bitter-sweet emotion, but London/Norwich based artist Mark Lawes’ debut single “Moving On” packs in plenty of honeyed dreampop rhythm without any hint of a bitter sting.

Rather than just laying down a transcendentally concordant soundscape, the up and coming artist also incorporated plenty of intricate Alt Rock riffs into the mix to make sure that the ebbs and flows of the momentum hit you exactly where Mark Lawes intended them to.

Being a little longer than your average track gave Mark Lawes the opportunity to create a progressive single which remains arrestive right up until the final mellifluous note. With a distinctive, radio-ready track already behind Mark Lawes with his debut single, you can definitely just regard this as the beginning.
