Louisville rapper and R&B artist FAIF has released his club-shaking (that is, if they were open) new R&B-laced track LACEDD.
It’s a party all-around and FAIF oozes charisma across trappy, melodic verse chops and follows through with a hook able to earn LACEDD some repeat plays with relative ease. There’s no shortage of entertaining things to pick through on this release, and FAIF should be easily able to get heads nodding on those that want some raw, authentic party rap delivered with independent charm and a strong R&B sensibility.
Most standout is the accompanying music video to LACEDD – nicely reminiscent of early Young Thug’s Be El Be directed work. The track’s deeply charming and easy-going turn up attitude helps push FAIF into one of a growing number of independent artists to watch coming out of Kentucky.
