It was only a matter of time before up and coming Hip Hop artist Loretta Mars’ standout single “Levels” appeared on our radars. While not every Rap track will be able to lyrically grab your attention, Levels will get you by the scruff of the neck and ensure you follow the smooth but commanding flow right to the outro.
The lyrics in Levels were one thing, but the fierce and snappy electronic instrumentals make it all too easy to follow the pace of the arrestive track which stands as a testament to Loretta Mars’ expressive style.
Levels is packed with the personability and charisma which is rarely contained in Hip Hop. It’s going to be all too exciting to see what comes next from the Jackson, Mi-based artist.
