London-based up and coming Folk Singer Songwriter Lily Williams has recently released her latest single “Maybe”, which is sure to be of interest to fans of Daughter, Tom Odell and Lucy Rose.
With her latest release she treated Folk Pop fans to the perfect ballad to feature on your playlists on the run up to Spring. Combining deeply evocative lyricism and her ethereally unadulterated vocals, no one can deny that Maybe is a stunning track, especially when the orchestral swells kick in around the delicate and light piano melodies. Yet, it was easy to feel that some of the vocal notes may have been a little too high for the vocals to comfortably resonate with the instrumental arrangement. But that’s not to say we’re not incredibly excited about the potential Lily William perceptibly carries in her passionate soundscapes.
