Up and coming New Wave Trap artist Lil Thane has recently released his latest single “Brightside”, which is right on the contemporary Trap curve. Whilst there is little to set Lil Thane apart from the other emerging artists in the genre apart from the production, Brightside still resonates as an instantly accessible mix. With a heavy excess of reverb on Lil Thane’s vocals they sat seamlessly with the almost nostalgic beat behind Brightside which was produced by Nonbruh. But considering that Brightside is only the third single to be produced by Lil Thane, I have no doubt that in time his heartfelt approach to creating emotively intricate beats will mature and we’ll be treated to some pioneeringly fresh hits.
